We live on a 12-acre country property. You are welcome to park at the back of the property where you will feel isolated (can't see the house or neighbours), but access may be difficult since you need to drive on grassed over old road. Also at the back of the property there are no services (electricity or water). Alternatively, you can park on our gravel driveway at the front of our property which has much better access and electrical hookup. Suggested Local Attractions:Wakefield village, Gatineau Park with lots of hike and lake swimming.

Access Road Conditions: We live off a gravel road conditions are generally very good but you will want winter tires from Nov-April. We have trees with low branches lining our driveway, you can push by them but if you are particular about branches brushing the top and side of your RV then you might have an issue with access.

My wife and I are both retired and live near Ottawa, Canada. We are both pretty active with our favorite activities being biking, camping, traveling and pickleball. We love meeting new people and hearing both their adventures.

We were well received by this nice couple and their dog, they took us around the field and offered us to park where we wanted. We stayed near the garage and they offered us water and power! It is a quiet place and we had a good night. Thank you very much! Rachelle and Yves.
