Enjoyed a quiet place to park overnight while catching the Fall colours. Parking is on a level driveway on a quiet street. The grounds offer spectacular views of the river. Holly and Ken are warm and friendly hosts. Due to rainy weather we didn’t get the chance to chat much outdoors. Will definitely be back to explore the area more when the weather permits. I look forward to sharing travel stories with the hosts again.

Great hosts, great conversations and an idyllic location on a river were the hallmarks of our stay at Good Times on the River. Ken and Holly we're gracious hosts, even including us on a boat tour down the river. Amazing memories that will stay with us for a very long time.

Ken and Holly were fantastic hosts. They made Mya, my Chihuahua, and me feel at home immediately. Holly showed me their place and it was delightful to watch their animal neighbors and everyone got along. They've created a special place. We all took a dip in the river and then talked on their deck. I tried the Stand Up Paddleboard for the first time and didn't fall off! The next day, Holly, Mya and I went out in their kayaks and saw Canadian Geese, ducks and had a swim. Saw one Mallard mom with 10 ducklings in a row behind her. Thank you both for a wonderful experience I will not forget.

What a lovely, generous, and open-minded couple! Right at arrival Ken showed us their lovingly designed home at the river with lots of wild animals living in harmony. Holly even had prepared a list with a map of the most attractive spots in the neighborhoods. The dock house as well as the kayaks and canoes were offered to us for free use. As our 1st time experience, we successfully tried a canoe up to the locks. Thanks Holly and Ken for the wonderful time with you and all your birds, squirrels, and chipmunks. Would be great to meet you again on travels.

Ken and Holly were the most wonderful hosts we have ever encountered. They made us feel so welcome and encouraged us to make use of the amenities on their property. And they are well travelled and very helpful with information, both local and distant. By the time we left, we felt we were all friends. We would recommend this as a stop on anyone's travels.
