We are located on the banks of Lake Mitchell. This is an 8000 acre lake we have fishing areas from banks and peers and swimming areas. We also have a boat launch and a nice 30 x 50 deck that can be used for picnicking or gathering. We do have a NO pet policy. Sorry Suggested Local Attractions: Peach Park Durbin Farms Bertolone Italian Lots of small town shops and boutiques.

Grace’s Marina on Lake Mitchell Details: We have owned and operated our marina since 2001 and pride ourselves on having a good family environment. No pets are allowed. We are also RV enthusiasts and love to explore new places. Home Town: We live full-time here at the marina. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have stayed at many Walmart parking lots over the years and we look forward to discovering new off the grid places to stay. Skills or Expertise to Share: I Serve full-time on staff with Church of the Highlands out of Birmingham Alabama. We have four married grown children and six grandchildren.

We spent one night camped beside the water with the ducks. Spoke with the host before arrival and was directed on where to park as they would not be able to greet us. Nice location, we saw lots of fishermen using the boat ramp, everyone was very friendly.

Our stay at G.R.A.C.E.s was absolutely great. Hosts Kevin and Rebbeca were both friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home. Great lakefront sight on an awesome lake very peacful. The pontoon ride to the restaurant on the lake for dinner was an added bonus that we will always remember

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at G.R.A.C.E.’s marina! In the evening we relaxed sitting at the water’s edge. The site was level, there are 2 options for parking. Electricity is an option, if needed. The best part of the stay was conversation with the hosts, Kevin & Rebecca, over breakfast!

Kevin, Rebecca, and the ducks are very kind hosts. They work hard to not only make you comfortable but also to make sure you know they want you there. They offered to have us in their house for ice cream and offered to take us on a boat ride. Top notch people like the Georges is what makes HH a great program.

This is a great place with a lovely view of the lake. Host communicated well, speaking with us beforehand to give us directions. Unfortunately we had an issue with a cracked windscreen so had to leave early the next morning so didn’t get to meet the host or take them up on their offer of a trip out on the lake.
