Grand Mound, WA. Halfway between Seattle and Portland. An hour's drive from most everything. Mt Rainier. Mt St Helens and the coast. There is hiking, biking, kayaking and fishing all within 10 minutes. We are also 10 minutes from Great Wolf Lodge Water park. We are a farm with 300 acres of wooded area to hike and bike in the evening. We offer general RV/auto repairs, oil changes and RV washing. We would need to know when you request your stay what it is you need so we can have the parts on hand when you arrive. We are very relaxed around here. We don't have any real rules, except enjoy your stay and have fun. As long as you cleanup your site when you leave, everything else is just worries no one needs.

House Rules

No open fires in the grass or during fire season. If it's ok to burn, just let us know you would like a fire and we will provide firewood and a firepit at no cost. You're even welcome to take some firewood with you when you leave. Pets do not need to be on a leash but please make sure they stay within your area. We have animals as well as a lot of deer and elk, and pets not used to it, tend to give chase. And they can chase for a few thousand acres which can make it hard to find them. Please pick up after your pet in the campsite areas.

Location

Nothing fancy. Directions given will based on rig size and what you need. Just quiet areas behind gate on dead end road. DO NOT go up the driveway by the mailbox with the green gates. Go to the end of the road (county road ends sign) We generally meet guests there so they can see the different sites and pick the one they want. We only have one hookup site, the rest are dry camps. If you wish hookups, please let us know when you make the stay request. So we can let you know if its available or already reserved.

Just me, my wife and our dog. Been rving part time since 94. Still have so much to see and places to go. Hopefully will be full time in the next few years I'm a Washington native and she is a New York native. Currently live on a farm. I can fix most anything. She is great at financial and business stuff. She's the brains of the group, I'm the muscle. Balto the dog is the guardian and companion. He never met someone he didn't like.

Our weather was the pits and Mark, our host, made parking possible with his help and advice. He also says he does repais and he certainly has egge lots of experience to impart. We really appreciated his help. The spot we got was surrounded bymudbut Mark has thoughtfully put rock and gravel where you need it. We were there inbad winter weather and it made st be a treasure in summer

The owner met us as in his instructions, and his property is rural and huge. Being first time drivers of a huge motorhome, we were too nervous to try the gate into the property. He assured us that he has had large rigs all the time. We totally believed him but were just not confident enough drivers with a large rig and tow car, and did not want to get somewhere we could not easily get out of! We will go back after we have some miles under our belt. It's a large quiet country property.

I commend Mark. Recognizing someone who selflessly gives without constantly seeking something in return is truly rare. While I was traveling, I knew I needed repairs. Being a full-timer, it's challenging because your home is also your office. Mark not only serviced my rig but did it in a way that allowed me to continue working. He's a unicorn, possessing a multitude of skills. During the service, I not only got my rig fixed but also learned a great deal. I highly recommend staying here, whether you're looking for a nice place or need service for your rig without having to be without it. Services: Oil change, checked brakes, fixed a panel, screen for the door and installed invertor with an outlet to access the invertor power.
