Please read our full description and rules thoroughly. Important about booking; Tell us in your request (type us a message) as to what kind of site you want...Unfortunately, if you don’t, I will deny your request. I have three sites with power and water, 50 amp, 30 amp, 15 amp, and the 50 amp also has 20 amp. It's imperative that I know which you are requesting because they are first come first serve. I have the profile set to allow you to see my cell phone number once I approve your request, and I would prefer a text over messaging on the platform once you have access to my phone number. Rural setting in Northeast Florida. Surrounded by the Osceola National Forest and the John M. Bethea Florida State Forest. The Olustee Civil War Battlefield is 25 minutes away. Okefenokee is about 40 minutes. Less than an hour from Jacksonville. 35 minutes to Lake City, Fl. 16 miles from Interstate 10. Paved road to the driveway. Very safe low crime (almost nonexistent) area. Fair Warning: There is absolutely no cell service here no matter what carrier you use. In fact you will probably lose service several miles before you get here. We do have a great wifi network that covers the whole property and I don't throttle the speeds on the guest network. We have a small country store a quarter mile away, and a Dollar General 5 miles south. Walmart is about 20 miles in Macclenny, FL. Macclenny and Glen St. Mary have plenty of fast food and several good restaurants ranging from Seafood, Mexican, Cuban, Chinese, etc. Lake City is 35 miles and has many places to eat. We are about half way between I-75 and I-95. Fernandina Beach is a little over an hour away, and St. Augustine is about an hour and a half. I will allow rigs up to 35 feet. Sorry I CANNOT TAKE CLASS A's or CONVERTED SCHOOLBUSES, they are simply too heavy and leave ruts in the yard. I have a short video on YouTube that shows it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPcS3fUoxAU

House Rules
If there is no profile info and no picture then your request will be denied. Not asking for a life history, just a little about you. No children under 12, if you do have older children they are to be supervised at all times while on the property. There are some old outbuildings that aren't safe to play around or near. The 50 amp power and water is located across the street from the address. The 30 Amp and 15 Amp power, along with the water is located at the Galvanized Shed to the rear of the house. The donation for the power is payable on arrival. 50 and 30 amp is $15 per night, and the 20 and 15 amp is $5 per night. Tobacco is okay just please don't litter. I will provide a garbage can inside the shed at the rear of the house, as long as you don't generate a ton of garbage. Please only put bagged and tied garbage in the can I provide. Pets are okay, but they are required to be leashed at all times unless of course in the camper. There are some dogs in the area that run free and they may be aggressive to other dogs, and I won't take any responsibility if your pet gets hurt. There is also a feral cat that hangs out on the property and I would appreciate if you don't let your dogs chase it. I also have dogs but they are in a fence. Generators are okay as long as they aren't super loud at night. Obviously common sense applies. No loud music or party type stuff. If you have a propane fire pit feel free to use it. As for wood burning fires I will allow or not depending on the chance of wildfire and how dry it is at the time of your visit. Just leave it like you found it and all will be well.
Location
I have approximately 4 acres of land. Paved road to the driveway. Oak trees on the property but plenty of room to drive where clearance will not be an issue. I have a 50 amp site that also has a 20 amp receptacle, a 30 amp site, and a 15 amp site and all have water as well. The power will be given to the first one asking for it. The parking area for the 50 amp site is on gravel and fairly level, the other two sites are on grass and would require very little leveling if any.

I'm Greg Gainey, I hail from a little community in Northeast Florida called Taylor. My wife Janice and I have been married almost 25 years. We love the Blue Ridge Mountains but are looking to broaden our travel horizons. We are new to RVing and look forward to meeting folks along our travel routes. I am retired from our local Fire Rescue Department after 20 years of service. I worked as an EMT on the 911 Ambulance in our rural county. I am now semi-retired and do pest control 8 or 10 days a month. My wife is retired since 2015. We are looking forward to joining the RV crowd and do some traveling.

Beautiful land and spot to camp! We were there for 2 days, and the hosts were very kind and accommodating! We had plenty of privacy. Wifi worked great! No cell service for ATT, but wifi was perfect. Bring potable water!

This is my new favorite spot. I love to find little pieces of history in the country. And this is definitely one of those. The people are wonderful, helpful, and eager to share their Wi-Fi because phone service is not great out here in the country if you can get it at all. Can’t wait to visit again.

We absolutely loved our time here, we spend 2 nights recharging our batteries. Our host was so nice and accommodating, we had a great time chatting with him, he made sure we had everything we needed. The property is very open, there are a lot of options for where to park and it's all pretty level. You can see the stars at night, it's pretty quiet as well. Water and power was available. We could not recommend the this place enough. It's just under an hour to Jacksonville and 1.20hr to the beach.
