Our town has a population of approx 5500 so pretty quiet. There is a POW museum, a new aquatic center, and a small lake that are all within a few miles. The Grotto Of Redemption is approximately 20 miles away, which is a nice tourist stop. Suggested Local Attractions:Grotto of Redemption

We’ve enjoyed staying with Boondockers Welcome hosts in the past. Joe & Julie were just over the top. We enjoyed a meal with them. More importantly they insisted that we bring our “wild child” pup 🐶 Shyan into their home. She loved being there and loving on them. Honestly I believe they did also. Thank you for the zucchini & pepper we found on our step the next morning. Thank you for all the extras. Hope to visit again when in the area.

Julie and Joe made me feel welcome and at home immediately. They are kind and generous hosts. it is a beautiful setting. mostly level and convenient to all your needs. I would definetly stay here again. Dont miss visiting the Grotto of Redemption while there.

We enjoyed the special treat of being invited in for dinner by hosts Joe and Julie. We shared some travel stories and learned a lot about their part of Iowa. We certainly hope to visit again!

We had a very pleasant experience. We enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship and would highly recommend staying here. We would enjoy visiting with them again, sometime time.
