11.5 acres in NE Tennessee. There are multiple sites available for dry camping and two sites with water and 50 amp electric. There is dump available on site for any camper. Very popular area for motorcyclists and hikers. Close to the Virginia Creeper bike trail and Backbone Rock. Stunning valley surrounded by mountains. Feel free to use side by sides on the property. When making reservations, please advise if you want the hook up site. We allow up to four rigs, but only have two hook up sites. Also let me know if you would take a dry spot if hook up sites are unavailable. Our nicest spot is actually tucked into the back of the property on our creek. This spot is best for smaller rigs like vans. We have a very steep driveway coming off the highway, and some rigs may drag. If you have any questions we will be happy to talk over any issues you can think of. Thanks for visiting us!

We love to tent camp and RV. We have been doing some form of camping for over 20 years. We love traveling anywhere but we prefer to be near water. We do live in the most beautiful place, so now we like to welcome other RV’ers.

We stayed for 5 days and really enjoyed meeting the hosts and our time on their property. They are very accommodating! There is plenty of room to spread out and also there is a quiet stream that runs in the back of the property. Truly a great stop.

Ella and Gerald were excellent hosts. Super friendly and great communicators. The road to the house is twisty but the driveway was easy to take. Its steep but we didnt have any difficulties with our rig and 35 ft fifthwheel. The site itself is full hookup and their was tons of room to maneuver and back into the spot. It was very peaceful and a beautiful little hidden valley. We definitely hope to be back!

Prior to arriving, the hosts were great about communicating with us to ensure we had a safe arrival. When we pulled down the driveway, we were greated by the host and then shown multiple options for sites in their UTV. We chose a more secluded option and the host even provided extra lighting while we disconnected since it was dark. During our entire stay, the hosts made us feel at home and made sure we had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back to see what the next improvements to the property will be!

We were in a 30 foot motorhome and drove up the mountain from Bristol. I would not recommend that to anyone with anything more than a van. Especially not after dark, as it was for us. Very steep with lots of switchbacks. It was a very stressful drive for us. However, the road between Shady Valley and Damascus Virginia is wonderful… A beautiful drive with the plus of getting to see the shortest tunnel ever! L O L
