In our driveway. Water available, but only 15 amp electric via extension. Can run fan and lights, but not coffeemaker or microwave. Donation for electric use can be $5.00 per stay not per night. Relatively flat concrete driveway. large rigs being towed such as trailers and 5th wheels seem to be having trouble getting in the drive. Please be sure you can manage to back your vehicle up without hitting the house or mailbox. Note the location is in full sun all day. If you have pets you will not be able to leave them in your rig during the day, even in winter it is not safe to leave animals in a vehicle in full sun. We can recommend a doggy day care if you need one. This also means that your rig will be hot after a day in the sun. Realistically from late April into late September it is very hot and hard to get a rig cool for night sleep. Unless you have solar panels to run your AC, you may want to bypass us. When looking at available dates, please leave us a blank day between visits, we can use a break. Suggested Local Attractions:Great kayaking, beaches and other typical Florida attractions. WE love visitors and will take you for a boat ride if you have the time and inclination. Just let me know so I can reserve one. In season, I need a few days notice.

Location
Access Road Conditions: Paved neighborhood, 1.5 miles from I75 exit 167. Several turns, but easily made with large RV and tow car. Three night parking restriction in the neighborhood. Recently we have had visitors who had trouble backing into the driveway. Please be sure you are well versed in the way your rig handles when backing. The street is only about 20 feet wide and the turn is a 90 degree turn. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Tow vehicle may have to be on street depending on how well we get you into the drive. We will work it out, haven't lost a visitor yet. No room for rig, tow vehicle and tow dolly.

Rving women, from Texas (retired Army) & Kentucky (librarian), now in Florida. Details: Virginia is retired Army, lived overseas for many years, now active in Coast Guard Auxiliary and genealogy. Pauline was a collection development librarian who retired in 2014 and has taken up quilting with great enthusiasm and growing skills. Now that retirement has happened, they hope to travel several months at a time. Two cats and two dogs share the house. Home Town: Pauline is from Louisville Kentucky, Virginia from Fort Worth (not Dallas) Texas. We currently live in lovely Punta Gorda Florida a fabulous small town on the coast of Florida. We are one hour south of Sarasota, and 1 hour north of Naples. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Usually somewhere along I10 or I95, we tend to travel between Florida and Texas. We've stayed in rest areas, and Walmarts and truck stops, but would prefer quieter areas. In 2016, Pauline had the pleasure of staying with several boondocking hosts and loved every minute of it. The rig was sold, we want something much smaller for the future, but for now, we are very happy to host, as we meet such lovely people. Skills or Expertise to Share: Both of us are "handy" with tools, Pauline can sew anything. Virginia is good with wood, computers and genealogy. Both kayak and ride bikes, we know some great kayak and biking areas in SW Florida. We are members of a boating club and if you have time would love to take you out for some time in Charlotte Harbor, one of the prettiest bodies of water in the US. Pauline is a great, inventive cook, quilter and weaver. Virginia will discuss boating safety, or politics with anyone. If you do not hear from me in 24 hours, please call. I am having trouble getting communications since the merger with harvest hosts. 941-624-3385 or 941-467-4700

We spent two peaceful nights here and talked to one of the hosts a little bit. They provided a great spot that was level with electric and water.
