Adventure loving family of nine Details: Steve grew up on a dairy farm in Canada with 5 brothers and a sister. Virginia came from an acreage and a big family in Michigan. We love people and new experiences. We enjoy exploring all the little corners of the world and helping others enjoy ours! We are honest, down to earth, and try to appreciate the little things in life while flying at a fast pace :) Home Town: Fort St. John, British Columbia is our hometown. It’s on the Alaska Hwy. We love the people of this town but on top of that there are great rivers, beautiful trails, wild country, and some great restaurants. Skills or Expertise to Share: Steve is a farm boy and is super mechanical, great problem solver, tells some good stories, and is an overall McGuiver. Virginia loves to cook and bake and garden. We are hard workers and have lots of hands on experience :)

I can’t say enough about this host. Very accommodating. Willing to build a 30 amp plug for us when the “normal” spot for my 40’ class A was too wet and we had to park in front of their business. If you don’t visit their slice of paradise you are missing out.

This spot is so beautiful! Communication with the host was great. When we got there they gave us a great layout of the area with plenty of nice, flat options for parking. The ponds and trails are beautiful. Very quiet at night. Definitely recommend and we hope our travels bring us back this way so we can stay again!

Steven and Virginia were great hosts! They had fantastic communication from before arriving and while there. They have several very scenic spots to choose from when the weather is good. It was too early season for us to nab one of those but even their “non scenic” spot was great. They were very accommodating with letting us extend last minute due to weather in the location we were going to be driving to. This place is an absolute gem, with a fantastic family, for anyone who is lucky enough to stay here.

Beautiful spot. Level with gravel. Nice trails to walk around the lake. Wish we’d had time to relax and enjoy being there and spend time with our hosts. Look forward to visiting again.

The two hosts are very welcoming. Interesting to see their craft. I look forward to the hat and will wear it with pride.
