There is a dump station/water/wash at Northern Energy and the Chevron station. We have occasional yard sales on Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. which result in some cars coming through the driveway. All the kids are grown up, and we are almost retired. We keep our truck and trailer stored in the lower 48 so we can travel around when we go "outside" for vacations. After retirement, we plan to spend more or all of the winter where it is warmer, traveling around visiting the rest of the kids and grandkids that don't live up here. Mark has lived in AK all of his life and is a great source of information. His hobbies include Ham radios, shooting, and flying. Heather is originally from California and likes to sew, crochet, and grow flowers. We are year-round volunteers with Operation Christmas Child and love to find deals on items for the shoeboxes when we travel. We look forward to meeting fellow RVers and swapping travel tales.

Easy in and out. Lots of room. Hosts are kind (love their dog) and welcoming. Can't recommend enough. Thank you so much Mark and Heather. You made our trip better and it is appreciated!

*this is a late review, sorry it's been a very busy trip with limited internet access*. We'd stayed with Mark and Heather when we arrived in Alaska after a sooo long ride by the Alaska highway, we arrived late and soo exausted at their place, so we haven't chat much, but straight when we arrived they gave us their wifi code which was working really well to our "camp spot" and offered us to fill up the water. We had a quick chat with them the morning after before continuing our ride to Valdez. Their place is very peaceful and we enjoyed having a picnic table next to our van for the breakfast. We also appreciated having a safe and quiet place to sleep after that exhausting drive from Yukon. Thanks again and hope you had an amazing summer!

This was our second stay and was probably even better than the first! M & H are lovely gentle people and their property is so convenient to town. An additional bonus: great norrthern exposure to the Northern Lights! We could have stayed for days, but the homeward trek has begun.

Mark and Heather are wonderful hosts and made the stay quite easy. Excellent communication, directions and support. Very quiet private location away from but with easy access to the ALCAN. Of course having a beautiful sunset, sunrise and a star filled dark sky was an added bonus.

We had a wonderful stay. It is nice and quiet, and lots of room. They generously gave us water and we chatted for a bit. Mark and Heather are kind hosts in a great location, especially when traveling through the Alcan.
