Access Road Conditions: We are on a gravel road. We are at the top of a steep hill. Perhaps 8% grade. We travel it regularly with our 33β fifth wheel. Getting into our circular driveway would take some experience for those over 35β No problem with trees. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We have 10 acres and several parking spaces for our trailers. Certainly welcome.

Quaint log home and homestead Details: Our children are grown and living their own adventures and now it is time to enjoy our prime time together. We love our RV lifestyle and while we have a few more years before we can go full-time it is a great time to open our property to others who are on the road. We live on 10 beautifuly maintained acres with a log home and over 100 yr old barn. We are just off the Highway 60 for those planning to travel to or through Algonquin Park, and perfectly situated in the Ontario Highlands with beautiful lakes, multi-use trails and wonderful pioneer history. Home Town: We are a Canadian military veteran family and so hometown tends to depend on the year. But we have been residents of the beautiful Ottawa Valley for several decades. A great day-trip to Ottawa, hiking trails, the Ottawa River and Whitewater Capital of Canada. And just minutes to the ATV trails. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We are new hosts and new boondockers, however some of our favourite travelling destinations are the ones that come with unique experiences - a unique location, a beautiful view, great friendships formed. Skills or Expertise to Share: We are very involved in the local tourism industry as volunteer executives of the local ATV Club and can offer great suggestions of the road less travelled. We have been RVβing coast to coast for several years. We can provide support and welcome in both CN English and French and could likely manage through German.

The Hebb Homestead is a gorgeous location in the beautiful highlands. We had a very nice spot on their property and the place was a peaceful getaway. Our very generous hosts are lovely people and were very helpful in making suggestions of things to see in the area. We recommend this place if you want to see some incredible nature and some very interesting historic sites. Thanks for the stay!

What a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. We had a flat spot with 30amp service. We discovered we had actually boondocked with our hosts last fall at a sugar shack in Quebec. The boondocking world is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and recommend highly. Be sure to check out the chickens in the back lot...they were a hoot. Thanks guys, see you again soon.πββοΈ

Ok, so you're wondering why only four stars for the access. There is a gravel hill to climb. While I was very much OK with the hill, some folks may be a little apprehensive, which is why 4 of 5 stars. Our hostess met us and showed us where to park - in a garden that obviously has a lot of love poured into it. Our hosts met us after dinner for a brief chat about RVing, rural life and everything else that goes into homesteading. Next time we're heading that way, we'll ask for another visit - hopefully with some more socialization.

We stayed two nights and easily could have stayed two more. Lots to see and do in the area. The nearby lakes are beautiful and there are some cute towns as well. The property is lovely and very peaceful. Teresa is very welcoming and has great suggestions for things to do, and Steve skillfully patched up a hand injury that healed quickly and kept us enjoying the rest of our trip! Thank you so much for your hospitality. We have fond memories of our time there and definitely will look to stop in again! James & Sarah

This was our first BW experience. What a great way to start! Teresa and Steve were so welcoming. As all previous BW have mentioned, everything you need. Great property for a stay. We were able to enjoy a campfire watching the harvest moon π rise into the evening sky while sipping on Sortelege. Our cat Jackson enjoyed watching the chipmunks while on leash. Wish we had known how great it was, would have planned a longer stay before heading home so we could have gone to the Bonnechere caves and explored the area more.
