Staying at Prairie Gem in Alberta, Canada for 3 nights as guests through Boondockers Welcome. James (The Host) met us in the driveway as we pulled in. He is a friendly guy. Showed us where we could park. There are several flat locations on his 9 acre property. After we were parked he brought out peaches and grapes for us. 😊

What a wonderful family! Easy, level parking. We were greeted with freshly baked cookies and smiling faces. We enjoyed several visits, sunsets, and moon risings. Thank you so much!! We will return!!

Communication was spot on and very helpful. As it turned out the day we arrived they were going to the hueterite community to get veggies and asked if we’d like to follow them there too. We did and it was great. We also needed to get money exchanged and they took us to the credit union so we could. They provided us a little surprise of baked cookies. sweet people. Would stay here again.

Such a nice place with so much easy parking. Good electric if you need it. And if you’re lucky… they bake cookies when you are there!!

Although we were late checking in due to weather, the host welcomed us and greeted us with two lovely nectarines. The lovely rural setting, only a short drive from the main highway, was quiet and allowed for a great night's rest. We would definitely recommend a Prairie Gem, and would love to visit again when the canola is blooming.
