You are driving out to the furthest most part of Riverside County. Still a suburban neighborhood where most of our neighbors are seniors. Streets are comfortably wide. We are outside of city limits so street sweeping only happens once every other month with no penalties when caught off guard. The space is a single wide, double long driveway that reaches all the way to the backyard if needed. Local Dumpsite: Hemet Valley RV formerly RV Masters (1 mile away) $3 to dump black water Local Attractions: Simpson Park State Park (recently burned) Idyllwild is a small mountain community about 1/2 hour away. Historic Hemet Theater offers cover bands of your favorite artist of yesteryear. Ramona Bowl is an outdoor theater that offers events on occasion. Saboba Indian Reservation & Casino in San Jacinto.

We're a first responder, CPR instructor, photographer, musicians, English horseback riding, video editor, Jiu Jitzu student, and collector of animals. Our home is always busy doing something or preparing for the next adventure. I love being a Mommy of 2 boys, 2 cats, 2 desert tortoises, and 15 chickens. I'll apologize now for our rooster giving you an early morning wakeup call. We live on the outskirts of Riverside County, where the night gets dark and usually stay quiet. Native to California, originally from the beach areas but now enjoying the desert life, yet I still try my hand at gardening. We homeschool, stay busy with lessons in music or sports. I'm a child of the 70's so we get to introduce our boys to some of the better qualities of being a kid. Hemet is a perfect mix of small town and city big enough to keep us all happy. Hemet is also home to the Ramona Bowl Amphitheater and Historic Hemet Theater both dating back to 1921. Orange orchards are just down the road, close enough to enjoy the blossoms in spring. Idyllwild is a half hour away and offers a nice get-away to a little mountain community. Temecula's wine country in the other direction offers wine tours or a balloon ride. Western Science Center is a specialty high school in our district, renowned for its study of dinosaurs and fossils. https://www.westernsciencecenter.org visit the Mastodons at the Natural History Museum.

We were competing in the Hemet Tirathlon & needed a safe, quiet place to sleep prior to the race: Hiding in Hemet was perfect, thank you!

I have so much good things to say about Maria and her family. They have been so welcoming and accomodating. I don’t want to write more because I would ruin the surprise. The boys are so lovely. We got to help with the chicken. We ended up spendiny Christmas with them and it was just lots of fun! If you are wondering if you should stay in Hemet, honestly, it is an amazing place. I really enjoyed my time. Very little light pollution so you can be mesmerized by the stars every night and the mountain view is incredible. They are located in a really amazing place!

Ryan and Maria were extremely nice in opening up their driveway on Thanksgiving Day. We had a nice quiet with Ryan and Maria stopping by to make sure all was ok. We were able to park on a private driveway, but the slope did require blocks along with our levelers. Even though they graciously offered the use of water and electricity, we opted to try out our new solar, since from there we were heading to boon docking in Joshua Trees. Overall, a nice visit with nice people. Thanks.
