We live right in town, about 1/2 mile off the main highways through Redmond. We have room in our small side yard next to our garage. You'd have to back in on to our lawn to have your RV door exiting toward our home. The space is too narrow unless you have no slides to permit use of BBQ or lawn chairs and we have neighbors within 30' the house so generators couldn't be used either. If you have a pet, you may park in our backyard, along the fence and then you could also run a generator if it's quiet. You'd have to put your pet in our fenced backyard, right behind where you'd be parked. Suggested Local Attractions:Smith Rock State Park, High Desert Museum, Lava Lands, Lava Cast Forest, Newberry Crater National Monument, several microbreweries, farmer markets in season, outlet mall, Costco, Trader Joes in Bend.

We are a married couple and we love to travel and boondock. Details: We are both retired. We love to travel about the country, would love to travel by RV to Alaska but may never get around to it. We try to travel around the SW during the winter months, staying mostly in Thousand Trails. We have gotten into geocaching and have traveled about letting that guide our route at times. Home Town: Redmond, Oregon Favorite Boondocking Locations: Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, AZ and dry camping away from civilization in Nevada. Skills or Expertise to Share: The wife doesn't particularly like to cook but can do it, the husband nor wife have no particular skills though the husband makes a fairly good handy man.

Libby was a wonderful host, staying at her place in Redmond was a perfect overnight stop for us. Loved the quiet neighborhood and the park close by was a perfect spot to walk our dogs.

We stayed two nights and enjoyed our visit very much! Libby gave us ideas for activities as well as a scenic route for the next leg of our journey. Fritz the dog was a bundle of energy and joy, so an added bonus 😀 Extremely convenient location less than a 10 minute drive from pickleball courts and breweries, and a few minutes walk from Dry Canyon Trail for walking, running, and/or biking. Hopefully we'll cross paths again.

This was the best location for our visit to Bend, OR. Libby and Ron were accommodating and kind hosts, and we enjoyed sharing stories on their back porch. Hanging out with their dog Fritz was an added bonus! They gave us several good recommendations for things to do in the area. I would highly recommend Smith Rock State Park for some awesome hiking. Libby and Ron were so kind and we would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area!

Libby and Ron are wonderful hosts. They live in a quiet neighborhood with large city lots. There is plenty of space to park, either in the driveway or on the grass beside the house. Good access to wifi and electricity. Centrally located. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
