John & Lois. Retired, in our 70's. Non smokers. Traveled the Eastern US. Details: We have covered the Eastern US in our Bus Conversion(PD4104-4541). Our kids live in Central Florida, where we spend the winter. We have friends and family in Michigan and we try to spend most of the summer in Northern Michigan. Recently acquired a Roadtrek Class B. Took a trip to the Grand Canyon last summer in the Roadtrek. We have hosted many bus conversion rallies, mainly in Florida where we belonged to 2 different FMCA sanctioned clubs. Upon retirement we relocated to Georgia and many of our friends from the clubs come to stay with us, some for a few days, others for a month or two. We love to see fellow RV'ers pull in the drive, which we especially had redone when we moved here to accommodate large rigs. We stay very busy so may not have time to be a tour guide. We kayak when we get a chance, but most of our time at home is spent working on vehicles and taking care of things that have to be done on the property. Getting ready for the next road trip. We live a simple life, we are not into formal dining or clubbing. You can find our profile on Busconversions.com. Home Town: Dearing, Georgia 30808 Favorite Boondocking Locations: UP Michigan, anywhere there. Skills or Expertise to Share: I am one of the few people left who can work on a Detroit 2-cycle motor. 6-71, 8v-71

Lovely shade spot to camp. Had good water and electricity. Can’t ask for more than that. Grateful for the evening chats and recommendations. Would definitely stay again. Sending hugs to you both and little Rosie. 💜🐾

We stayed two nights at this site.. enjoyed the evening sitting and chatting. Found out we have good friends in common from Michigan and have shared experiences at a Boondockers location in Arizona!! What a small world! Can’t say enough about these great people.. looking forward to staying here again!!

Great hosts, nice location. It's a chill spot in rural Georgia to hang out and visit with the two hosts. They invited me to a bbq at the lake with the family. 🙂

Even though our gracious hosts weren't home to greet us, they welcomed us via messages and provided detailed directions to their home, including advice to ignore our GPS because of a dangerous railroad crossing! Our wooded site was level and electricity/water were available. We met another guest camper who was also new to RVing, which was delightful. A very positive first experience with Boondockers Welcome!

The hosts were away at the time of my visit. But we’re very accommodating with phone calls and texts. From talking to them they seem extremely nice. They were able to provide electric and water hook up which was also much appreciated. Would definitely stay again.
