We have several acres of rolling hills. Some leveling will be necessary depending on where you choose to park. Our Electric hook up will not be avaible during the winter months. We still have one place avaible if you don't need hook ups. You may contact us to check on that. If you like quiet rural settings with great views this is your place. Suggested Local Attractions:Mammoth Cave National Park is just a 25 minute drive away using the Green River Ferry. Check with the National Park System to see if the Green River Ferry is operating. If not it's a 50 minute drive. We are right between two lakes. Nolin River Lake, and Rough River Lake. Both good for boating and fishing. We have a marina close by that rents pontoon boats. Many of the stops on the Bourbon trail are a short drive away. Louisville and the famous Churchill Downs is a little over an hour away. We have Amish in our area please watch for their buggies while traveling to our location.

This is a quiet place on a hilltop. The hosts are good people and we enjoyed our stay. I didn't receive the info to not drive all the way up to the house, so i had to backup to get to the orange flags, but it wasnt a bulig deal amd the host helped get us situated. To get power, I had to back up a small hill. Our tow rig did it without issues and we enjoyed the spot. Hosts were nice and we enjoyed our conversations and playing with their dog. The woods are pretty. There is a cow pen right across the road, so we could hear and smell them. We like that kind of stuff, but some people might not like that. Power and water were good. We look forward to visiting again when we are in the area! (Note: During spring and summer there are two COE campgrounds just down the road where you can drop tanks, but we were there off season. The closest dump station was a Loves and it was bad, so do yourself a favor and go tot he KOA instead. Also I would avoid the 1214 road with an RV, its narrow with no centerline.)

I tell you, there’s got to be some magic in that lower field at Ron and Tura’s place. Our whole family had the best nights of sleep we had since our start of our when we stayed at Hilltop Acres. For a family of 4 for a year on the road is really saying something! Ron showed us where to get water and provided 30amp power and even jump started my car when I left the lights on. Green River Ferry to Mamoth Cave NP is only 20 min away and we did the self guided tour of Mamoth. Nolin Lake State Park is also a good place to hang - has a little beach area and a camp store. Saw Amish buggies twice on the roads. Highly recommend at least 2 nights at Hilltop.

This stay was an exceptional representation of what one could hope for out of a BW stay. We only stayed 1 night after visiting Mammoth Cave and Crystal Onyx Cave before heading to WV. The hosts offered water and electric which was great because we needed all 30 gals of our water when we arrived in WV. We watched the sun go down with deer in the field and woke up to a turtle crossing the field! Was also easy to level out. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks again for the hospitality!
