Our home is a wooded acreage at the top of a hill on the edge of a small town located on the Missouri River. Quiet area with great views of a valley. Walmart is located a half mile from our home. Nearby city RV Park with a free dump station. 18 hole golf course close by. This is a great place to relax after traveling during the day. We do have a firepit which is a possibility depending on the weather conditions. We would decide at the time if it would be allowed. Suggested Local Attractions:18 hole golf course. Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo 30 miles away. Desoto Bend National Preserve is a 20 minute drive. Access to I-29 and I-80 within 30 miles. Location

Access Road Conditions: Travel from the Highway to our driveway is flat gravel of about 1/4 mile. The turn in to our lane is a 90 degree sharp turn which starts immediately up a long straight gravel driveway. In regular weather conditions it would be no problem for a Class B, B+ or C to drive up the crushed rock driveway. At the top of the hill the road and driveway are blacktop which is where you would park your rig. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: IF pulling a travel trailer, you must have a 4 wheel drive vehicle and brakes on your rig. Maximum rig length is 25 ft and you must be good at backing up due to limited turn around area. No Class A's or 5th wheels. Class B, B+, Class C or small travel trailers are best suited for our place.

Dog loving Couple Getting ready to Enjoy Retirement Details: We are both RNs. One retired and one currently working. We live on an acreage where we thoroughly enjoy golfing, relaxing, and loving our dogs. We love God, our Country, and support our men and women who serve and protect us. We are just starting the planning of traveling with our dogs and have recently purchased a late model Roadtrek. The RV community appears to be a wonderful group of like minded people. Home Town: We live on the edge of Blair, Nebraska which is on the Missouri River located 20 miles north of Omaha Nebraska and 20 miles west of I-29 at Missouri Valley, Iowa. Skills or Expertise to Share: If snow is an issue when you plan to arrive, we will have our driveway plowed.

This was our first boondocker camp. The hosts were super friendly as well as their two dogs. we stayed only overnight so didn't get much opportunity to get to know T&C. Our hope would be to spend a little more time next time.

The name of this host says it all but there’s so much more to absorb absolutely gorgeous view from their back patio. Lovely house, easy parking and turn around very easy access to the utilities, and the sweetest Bernese mountain dogs you could ever meet. Such a joy! Thank you so much for hosting me.

We reached out the evening prior and received a quick acceptance, which was much appreciated. There was a short unpaved section of road to their drive and then a good climb to the top. This is not a negative, just mentioning this to avoid surprise. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome. They have a couple of very well behaved Bermease Mountain dogs. We enjoyed our short time there and would certainly visit again.

We had a short, but nice stay at the Hilltop Boondock. Our hosts were very friendly, and while busy hosting family on the 4th of July, made time to welcome us and set us up for the night. Nice spot, lovely views and fireworks for us even. Hope to stop by for another visit. Would recommend. Thanks again.
