We are a young retired couple that enjoys camping and traveling. We love to meet people from all over Canada and the United States. Details: I have recently retired from Financial Planning after 23 years. I now enjoy my "second-half" career as a Dave Ramsey Certified Counsellor. Home Town: AMHERSTBURG ONTARIO Skills or Expertise to Share: I have 23 years of Financial Planning experience and for the last 13 years have been a Financial Coach with Dave Ramsey. Most of my coaching is done on Skype so I get to work "on the road". My wife is an amazing cook/teacher/mother!

What an amazing experience. I was greeted by Phil who helped me back in and get all set up. He also has a ton of experience with the RV lifestyle and was more than happy to share his knowledge, which was greatly appreciated as a fairly new Rv'er. I was also pleasantly surprised by the beautiful area of Amherstburg with it's history and beautiful attractions. Very highly recommended. Thank you both for a great stay.

Sometimes you just get lucky to meet the most amazing people! Can’t say enough about how kind and generous this family is… had several lovely conversations, and was so appreciative of the advise given on touring, and help with the maps! We are on our way to Gravenhurst to see this beautiful area at the suggestion of our hosts… thank you all for such a nice stay!

As the reviews indicate, a watm welcome from Jacob and an easy spot to park. Loved the neighbourhood and learning more about this special place. Fort Malden is a must visit spot!

We stayed at Phil & Sue’s residence last week but unfortunately we didn’t get to meet them as they were away. Their son, Jacob, was most accommodating and a pleasure to chat with. The driveway was easy to access and level and the water and hydro were very much appreciated. We would highly recommend this location if you are in the area. Thanks for a great stay!

We did not get to meet the hosts themselves, but their son was there to meet us and tell us where to set up. They have a double driveway and we parked in the far one up where it angles as that was the level part. There was 50 amp, much appreciated as it was a warm three days. Also a water connection if needed. Communication was good with the owner. The town of Amherstburg is so quaint and historic. We visited Fort Malden and the Navy Yard park on the waterfront, and ate at a restaurant in town. We were also close enough to visit Point Pelee National Park and ride our bikes to the point. We had a great time at this stop and felt very safe and comfortable in their beautiful neighborhood,
