We have a dog that is friendly with people, not so much other dogs. Cows and chickens can be visited in our presence. Please provide hookup fees on arrival. I dont want to have to ask, (yes, I have had to). We have guests often and could not afford the electric bill without your help. We are no longer able to park larger rigs, like motorhomes. We dont have a dump station. Suggested Local Attractions:Here in Council Bluffs we have 3 Casino's, an Old Market area here and in Omaha, 10 miles away. Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. Shopping, gas (w diesel), restaurants and bars and theater closeby. Great scenic Motorcycling rides and Iowa is a no helmet state. We both have fulltime jobs, Monday-Friday we arent usually home from work til 5:00pm cst. Arrangements for earlier arrival will need to be discussed before the day of arrival.

House Rules
During the work week, quiet time after 10pm please. Smoking is allowed, please dispose of butts properly, not on our grounds. Target practice is allowed, only if we are home for safety and liability reasons. Pastures have locked gates, they should remain that way unless we are present to lock them back up. Children are allowed, but need to be mindful of their whereabouts so they are not injured or bothering the livestock. We can discuss arrival and departure times. Trash receptacle located at the end of the lane by the road where you enter.

Access Road Conditions: There is 1/4 mile gravel to our lane which is also gravel. Very easy access. If you pull up to the house watch for the overhead electric line close to the house. Conservative, folks that are a hoot to hang with.Very friendly and accommodating Details: We are just plain folk, he is a business owner, she is a Nurse. We are right off of I-80 exit 6. Close to shopping, restaurants and bars. Omaha NE just across the river with the great Henry Doorly Zoo and the Old Market area. Motorcycle folks, we have beautiful country roads, just miles from our place. We have a nice area for target practicing your pistol, rifle or AR. We request we be home when any shooting takes place for safety of course. We have electric, water and dump station. Home Town: Council Bluffs Iowa, right in the center of the midwest. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We havent done much, but are anxious too. We spent 46.00 plus 8.00 park fee recently at a state park. Not in a big hurry to do that again. Skills or Expertise to Share: He is a jack of all trades. She is a Nurse and loves canning what we grow.

Hobby Farm Iowa was fantastic, we loved it. close to the highway for ease of access, but you don't hear it. An idyllic place to stay overnight. Chickens, cows,a horse across the road, cutest puppies when we were there . Such friendly hosts. couldn't ask for better. Thank you for having us.

This was our first stay using the app and it went great! Host's were very accommodating. Hooked up to power and was able to relax. Easy in and easy out. We would stay here again! Thank you!

Great communication with host. We ended up being later than planned due to high winds on I-90 through South Dakota. If we are ever this way again would stop again.
