Hog Wild Farm is our 40-acre slice of paradise in the foothills of NW Pennsylvania where we raise hogs, beef, and hay on a small-scale farm. We are adjacent to the 3200 acre Kennerdell Tract of Clear Creek State Forest which has over 27 miles of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, CC skiing etc. There is near by access to lakes, streams and the Allegheny River for fishing, swimming, boating, canoe/kayaking with nearby rental available.

House Rules
We prefer no generators but if you have a quiet one limited use is ok. We can provide electricity if necessary and can top off your water tank but no "real" hookups. I put one night stay but if you want more just ask, a lot depends on what we have going on at any particular time.

Access Road Conditions: Somewhat tight turn off of dirt road in to lane Due to the fact that some guests have arrived only to be intimidated by the turn from the road in to the lane I have added a couple of photos of the approach(#7&8), please take a look at these. Almost any car/truck trailer combination up to 45' should be able to make this turn without difficulty. The lane is 1/4 mile long but once you pass through the entrance it opens and is easy passage. Home Town: Address is Polk Pa, a little village about 15 miles away, also about 15 miles is Franklin Pa a town of about 6000 in Venango County which has aprox. 50,000 and is located half way between Pittsburgh and Erie about 80 miles to each. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Too many to list Skills or Expertise to Share: carpentry, mechanical, plants, general country knowledge

Truly a gem for those who choose staying in off the highway spots! The farm is easily located and has several camping areas to park dor rhe night. Marty was great at communicating with us regarding availability and directions. We were able to negotiate the entrance fine with truck and 25' camper. Our dog was able to roam a litttle and we stretched our legs after traveling all day. Marty has ground beef for sale so we bought some for the remainder of our trip. Lovely place, super friendly people and we will definitely return!! Enjoy and safe travels!! 😊

Hog Wild Farm was the perfect location for what we wanted to do. Our hosts were very nice and helpful. They have a very nice space to park with several options. We have a 24’ motorhome and tow a car. I wouldn’t suggest anything longer as the driveway is a tight fit. I definitely go back again. Franklin Pa also has an apple festivalWhen we were there.
