Camping in a hay field, with a great view of the local mountains! About 1.5 hours from downtown Vancouver, or 20 minutes from a commuter train that goes to Vancouver daily: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Coast_Express Because of the location, smoking is not permitted due to wild fire risks. Gas BBQ's allowed, but charcoal is not, for the same reason. Cell phone reception is very sketchy, but a 2 mile drive usually gets me a signal. Suggested Local Attractions:BC West Coast....! :)

During dry weather, STRICTLY NO SMOKING OUTSIDE OF VEHICLE. Don't want to burn down the valley... Limited electrical can be supplied if medical conditions require it.. This will not be adequate to run electric heat or A/C. Limited wifi available, spotty cell phone coverage in area.

Welcome to our dirt-farm! Mountain views, rain (more than near-by Vancouver), some local hiking, even a registered rock climbing cliff nearby, no stores! 1 1/2 hour drive to Vancouver or public transit and parking 25 minutes from here. NOTE: We don’t live on the web. WE’RE GOOD WITH SHORT NOTICE REQUESTS, BUT IT MAY BE TWO OR MORE DAYS WITHOUT GOING ONLINE! We had a great stay! The host and his family was most welcoming , the view was stunning and we went on some great hikes in the forrest around the hay-field we parked at. My kids loved help feeding the chickens, play with our puppy in the big field, and we has some great conversations with the host.

I left early because of a medical issue, but am glad i am invited back. Beautiful country property, wonderful views, good talk.
