Forty acres in the middle of 7,000 acres of nobody (other than our farm), just rolling prairie land. You can actually see the stars. Sunrises and sunsets are wonderful. Opportunities of seeing wildlife like antelope, deer, pheasant, rabbits, foxes, etc. WATER: We have great tasting free well water for filling your freshwater tank if desired, but not close enough to run a hose to the camping area. ELECTRICITY: 50/30 amp Electricity is available but is at one location. First come first served. If you have a long extension, and/or don't mind being close to other RV'ers the power can be shared by two rigs. We do have several spots with 15 amp service. WIFI: We now have highspeed internet our guests can access. Local Attractions: Pine Bluffs, WY, is 20 min away with restaurants, fuel and groceries. Burns, WY is 20 min away with a free RV dump station and an Indian restaurant Cheyenne, WY, is 40 min away with tons of eating, and shopping.

Location

Access Road Conditions: Six miles of nice graded dirt road off of a paved State highway. Once on property it is smooth gravel if you want around farm buildings, but semi-rough prairie land if you want the more picturesque views. The last mile of the county dirt road can get very slick if muddy, so watch the weather. Great otherwise. Most of the time not washboard'y. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Any where close to the rig.

Really in the middle or nowhere. Gave 3 stars for access only because it is about 6 miles of gravel on a dirt and gravel road. If it's wet, it could be difficult to get there.

Paula & Jim are gracious hosts who met us upon our arrival. Home on the Range is a beautiful property with gorgeous sunset and sunrise views. We had a peaceful and restful evening on our stopover. Much appreciate Paula & Jim’s gracious hospitality.

My first BW stay was really awesome. It was easy to find their location. The gravel road was well-maintained, and flat. Coming in I was greeted with so many beautiful birds and a lovely pronghorn antelope. Jim was very kind and welcoming and I enjoyed meeting him very much. He offered me electric and water, but I am self contained, I did enjoy using the Wi-Fi and I also had 2 to 3 bars of AT&T cellular. It is very quiet and very dark and very peaceful. I really loved the smell of the grassland when I woke up in the morning. I will definitely stay here again if I come this way.
