We are both retired and loving it! Details: We are both private pilots and our passion for flying is what brought us together over 19 years ago. Recently our airplane was destroyed by a storm leaving us heartbroken. We really enjoyed that activity together, but we are so thankful for all the memories we were able to make over the years. A couple of the pictures we posted were taken from our airplane. :) About a month later. while sitting on the porch of our new home "Homer House", we talked about what we would do in our retirement, now that we no longer have our airplane. We decided to look for a small motor home and go on a different kind of adventure together. :) God provided just the right one! We are both handy and like renovating, so we renovated our 1994 Coachman Catalina Sport into our "Tiny Homer." It was already in great condition, but we wanted to personalize it. We are really enjoying our new adventures in Tiny Homer! We look forward to sharing Homer House with fellow RV owners. Safe travels and we hope to see you soon! Home Town: Homer House in Missouri

We truly enjoyed our stay! They were so welcoming and gifted us a delicious homemade blueberry pumpkin bread baked in a mason jar! They even brought out carrots so our toddler could feed the neighboring horses that came to say hello. So extremely thoughtful and made for some beautiful memories. The view from their property is peaceful. Our visit was cut short since we needed to get home earlier than originally intended, but we will definitely be back if we're in the area again! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at Homer House. We were able to enjoy a sunset which we loved. The hay field behind was a nice back drop. Easy access from road. The homemade cookies and ice cold water was a plus since it was around 100 degrees outside when we arrived. We would definitely recommend!

What gracious hosts! We were blown over with their kindness and, when our schedule allowed, easy conversation. They were on the porch when we arrived and helped us navigate into the drive. We elected to stay on the gravel due to recent rains and our length/weight. We were given a treat bag (these folks could seriously sell baked goods!) We cut our stay short due to the continuing rains and they were outside helping us maneuver back onto the road. I would definitely recommend a stop at Homer House! For heavy rigs (we are 74’ long and about 50,000 total weight), I would recommend paying more attention than we did to weather. The excessive rain softened the gravelled entry road as well as the property. Note, the distance travelled on the gravelled entry road is minimal. This road has easy access from paved roads.

Our hosts at Homer House could not have been nicer. Good communication before our arrival. They were even waiting on the porch when we arrived. We really enjoyed chatting with them for a while before we set up our rig. They even gave us some homemade treats to enjoy! The spot they had for us was freshly-mown grass with a beautiful view of the sunset. We also enjoyed seeing some pretty ground fog over the nearby fields in the morning. We would definitely like to stay here again some day!
