We are midwesterners who love people. Details: We love to camp and also love our toys - Motorcycles, UTV and Pontoon boat. We've been RVing for many years and currently own a diesel pusher. We love to camp locally or travel around the beautiful US. We own a business, so we work hard and love our free time. It was a joke at first when our cousin wanted to camp at our house before any of the campgrounds were open in the Spring. We installed 30 amp service. and we started calling it Honest Dave's Campground. We have a beautiful site in the woods, but not far from the highway and town. We also have another site available on Lake Wausau that we lovingly call our Honest Dave's North Campground and Marina. It's a beautiful little spot right on the lake in the middle of town. We like to refer to it as Urban Glamping. Home Town: Our home town is Schofield, WI which is near Wausau. Dave grew up in Wausau and Terri is originally from Racine, WI. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Walmart, friend's driveways, travel centers Skills or Expertise to Share: We can tell you anything you want to know about insurance. We know a lot about motorhomes. Love to cook and putter with tools and fixing things.

Our Class B’s charging system had let us down, and we needed their electric hookup in the worst way, otherwise no refrigerator, no water pump (hence no operational shower or toilet). Dave & Terry were very hospitable, helping us get wired-in when we arrived. They are experienced campers as well as very pleasant hosts. We very much enjoyed the visit. It was a quick and comfortable stay and we were well rested when we traveled on the next morning.

Dave and Terri are great hosts. Dave had us park in an open lot adjacent to their home property. The space was large enough for us to pull and and circle around and the ground was in great condition, not too soft. We could have easily backed into the area, if necessary. Very quiet location with deer and turkey roaming around. We were able to spend one wonderful evening fellowshipping with our hosts and another bondocking couple. We would highly recommend this Harvest Host / Boondocker host!!!

This was our first boondocker experience. It was fantastic. We were greeted when we arrived and we backed into the driveway and into the spot with ease. It is nice and straight and black top drive. The area for the camper is graveled. Dave and Terri were very friendly and easy to chat with. We will be back!

We were greeted upon arrival and shown where to park on their nice level driveway. The hosts were very friendly and even invited us to sit in the evening with their family and have ice cream! Very enjoyable. This is why we love HH and Boondockers Welcome. We will be back again. Thanks again.

we loved staying here. The hosts were super nice, the property was quiet and large enough for a little walking around. Very lovely stay, highly recommend.
