Convenient access for cross country travelers on I-70. The parking area is a big open yard which is not paved. In wet conditions parking is in rocked drive. If necessary guests could pull to our house to fill with water and charge batteries. There is plentiful shade and a fire ring is available. Suggested Local Attractions:All that Topeka has to offer as well as the nearby racetrack and four reservoirs with state park RV and watersports.Kansas City is an hour away, with the Kansas Speedway, Chiefs and Royals ball, BBQ, etc.

Burt and Bev have been married for over 50 years and have three children. Details: Burt and Bev enjoy outdoor activities and traveling as much as possible. We recently moved closer to Topeka after living for over 30 years on a farm of an adjoining county. With our smaller acreage we expect to be on the road a great deal in our 39 ft Glendale Titanium. We are currently held to shorter trips because we are looking after the needs of an elderly relative. Our acreage includes many trees and is surrounded by woodland. Inhabitants include turkeys, hoot owls, raccoons, coyotes, squirrels, rabbits and an assortment of other birds and varmints. Home Town: Berryton is an unincorporated area just south of Topeka, Kansas. Our acreage is four miles from Lake Shawnee of Topeka and within an hour of four Kansas reservoirs and very nice state parks for RVing and water sports. We are within two miles of Heartland Park racegrounds. Burt was born and raised nearby and Bev is originally from Washington state. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Anywhere that it is quiet and scenic. Cool in the summer and warm in winter is helpful. We enjoy finding new places. Skills or Expertise to Share: We do just about everything for ourselves, including household remodeling, auto repairs and gardening.Our experience with computers goes waaaay back.

Bert and Bev were great! Stayed 3 nights. Excellent jumping off point for exploration of Topeka and the surrounding area. Bert was really helpful in getting the TT backed into a nice spot nestled in the trees. Highly recommend.

What an amazing stay we had with Bert and Bev, such wonderful and welcoming people, they even arranged a little cookout with all the BW guests as it was a full house one of the nights we stayed. Despite being a full house though, there was so much room, we were given multiple options to park in the shade under the trees by the creek and fire pit or out in the open yard to get sun and satellite signal. This was a perfect stay for us during the week when we wanted to hunker down and get some work done. It was a shame we didn't get to chat with our hosts more, the little time we did spend with them was great, they had so much to offer and were very flexible with our changing travel plan requests. We hope to be able to stop by and stay with Bert and Bev again next time we are in the area.

Bert and Bev had 4 guests at one time and decided to have a party. The weather was perfect, the company was exceptional and we had a great time. parking was very easy and Bert was very accommodating. We had a day to explore and would be able to spend more.

The epitome of a super host. Warm, welcoming, friendly and generous. This lovely couple have wonderful personalities and such a giving spirit. We enjoyed visiting and the delicious cookout we had with them and the other bw guests there. Highly recommend this stop and will return again when in the area!

We overnighted on our way from Oklahoma to North Dakota. Bert and Beverley have a beautiful place with easy access. We had a wonderful time visiting with them. Highly recommended!
