We live on a country property along the maitland river. Plenty of room to walk and stretch your legs. Not much shade. Good solid ground with fire pit with plenty of wood to use. We have a 30amp plug just inside our shop. You can hook up to the water but it's a long reach. This is a farming community so depending on the time of year they might be spreading manure on the fields. There is also a large Mennonite community in our area so horse and buggies frequently use the roads. Free dumping station 20 minutes away. Suggested Local Attractions:Lake Huron beaches are less than an hour away.

We’ve been rv-ing for about 15 years or more. Details: We’ve travelled extensively around Ontario but also all across Canada and quite a bit in the USA. Our home away from home home is small Casita trailer. Home Town: We live on six acres along the Maitland river just outside of Gorrie On. (Howick township) Favorite Boondocking Locations: Walmart! Skills or Expertise to Share: Welder fitter by trade but basically a jack of all trades. I,m currently a driver trainer for a fairly large trucking company. We’ve restored three vintage trailers, antique tractors and vintage motorcycles.

What a lovely spot with amazingly kind and generous homeowners. SO much space - super private if that’s what you want but we got lucky to have nice long chats :) They are both very easy-going, let us use free wifi (that’s so above and beyond for BW spots) and we slept so peacefully here. Perfect all around!

These hosts are amazing. Beautiful level location to park your trailer on gravel . They supply a picnic table and have an amazing campfire location by your trailer. Many great conversations felt like we were old friends. Highly recommend a stay at this location.

Thank you Terry and Wendy for such a welcoming stay. You have gone above and beyond to provide a very comfortable camping experience. Hopefully on our next visit we can have a campfire. Easy access, great directions, great conversations. Thank you so much.

Very well equipped site with awesome hosts. The campsite has a great view of the firepit and the picnic area with umbrella - no need to bring a table to dine on outside! We enjoyed a campfire one night with our hosts and the second night a romantic campfire evening for two! The stars were amazing along with the breezes during the day. Thanks again! Local Attraction for Museum Lovers in Harriston the local Rail Museum (highly recommend it - open seasonally only)

It turned out to snow lightly during our stay, but our host and location on a beautiful property were perfect.
