We are on 9 acres outside of a small town and across the road from Santa Fe Lake. The lake is popular with SUP boards, hiking and well maintained bike paths. We are a little less than 1/4 mile off of the blacktop on a well maintained dirt road. We enjoy watching the deer, turkeys and hummingbirds when in season. We also enjoy motorcycle rides...have plenty of room to park and to hook up to electric. We are not currently offering electric and our upcoming availability is limited due to some traveling etc. You can make a request or email me.

This was such a peaceful, quiet place to stay. MaryAnn communicated very well with me as we navigated to their property. Yes, we made the mistake, even though I was pre-warned, of turning on the very first road we saw that said 86th (coming from the East). Heads up, there’s a 2nd road (next one) that is also called 86th, which is the one you will actually want to turn left onto. MaryAnn (sp?) was so cute. She was watching for us, and she said “do you drive a big gray van? If so, I just saw you go past. You need to turn around”. We found it soon enough though and she was right there waiting at the entrance to their property to greet us, with a smile :). She quickly got us settled on a nice even pavement spot in front of the work shed. We very much appreciated being able to hook up to electrical, as we had been driving for several hours and our alternator wasn’t charging the batteries the way it was supposed to. Hosts were super nice, and we felt completely safe and cozy there. We will def stay there again when we are in the area, if they’ll have us. Can’t say enough nice things about this place.

We can't recommend Hummingbird Acres enough! Wonderful hosts!! There is an easy loop drive that is level and the property is beautiful. Wish we had been able to spend more time with our hosts but the weather was cold and we honestly needed the down time. Can't wait to stay here again when we pass through. Big rig friendly. We highly recommend Hummingbird Acres.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hummingbird acres. Access was super easy and we had some choices as to sun or shade spots. Even though we stayed here for 5 full days, we found lots to do in the surrounding areas. TwistedOZ motorcycle museum in Augusta was super fun to visit as was the the airport restaurant just down the road. We enjoyed our conversations with our host and peacefulness of their property. Thanks M&C!

Just simply a pleasure to stay. Concrete driveway with plenty of room to spread out. Level and shady in front of garage/shop. Hists were wonderful. Greeted us as we rolled in. Large hayfield pasture for our dog to romp & play. Water nearby and 50 amp setup, wired correctly. With family in Wichita, this was about a 30 min drive to West side of town. Located nearby groceries. Dump station about 2 miles near Santa Fe Lake.
