Hummingbird Barn is located on nearly 2 acres that is very park like and features both shady and sunny parking areas. Unfortunately, our little retreat is becoming the victim of progress and we are now next door to a massive construction site. We'd love to host you, but fair warning that we aren't as peaceful during the daytime. Suggested Local Attractions:Texas Renaissance Festival, Houston area attractions (zoo, aquarium, etc.), NASA, and College Station.

Backed into a little hideaway spot in the shade of many trees. Scott and Renee are really nice people, and had some good conversations. Scott has quite a project converting his “schoolie” to a motorhome, yet he has a plan for everything, and explained it all. It will be a wonderful home away from home when finished. rRecomend staying here if in the area

The hosts were very nice. Knowing I was a new "trailer driver" they met me at the entrance and helped me get situated. Very kind people. Would love to stay again.

Hummingbird Barn was absolutely delightful. Lots of shade trees, and a nice quiet street. The unfortunate urban expansion behind their house (new neighborhood) did not detract from our stay at all. Loved visiting with our hosts, and we will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed our stay here while checking out Houston. We had excellent ATT data for working. We got to see awesome museums on Free Thursday! Thank you, Rene and Scott, for your kindness and generosity.
