Hummingbird Barn is located on nearly 2 acres that is very park like and features both shady and sunny parking areas. Unfortunately, our little retreat is becoming the victim of progress and we are now next door to a massive construction site. We'd love to host you, but fair warning that we aren't as peaceful during the daytime. Suggested Local Attractions:Texas Renaissance Festival, Houston area attractions (zoo, aquarium, etc.), NASA, and College Station.

This was a great overnight stay. Spacious site nested on the edge of a wooded lot within a residential area. We did not get to visit face to face with our hosts, but they were very accommodating and gracious in their communication with us through the use of the app. They provided us with a well needed, restful stay. Thank you Rene’ and Scott for opening your homestead to us.

We stayed at Hummingbird Barn for 2 nights while visiting family in the area. Rene' and Scott were great hosts and we were sorry we didn't have enough time to chat with them more. Their communication was excellent, site was great with easy access, and it was nice to have electricity to cool our rig. We would stay again if in the area.

Great communication. Very easy access with our 23' motorhome. Scott and Rene were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Interesting to see all the vehicles Scott is working on. Noise from the building site didnt bother us at all.

We feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with René and Scott! They are wonderful people and went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. They are expert communicators and have a great set up for RVs. We hope to meet up with them again soon! Thank you, René and Scott! ya
