Hummingbird Barn is located on nearly 2 acres that is very park like and features both shady and sunny parking areas. Unfortunately, our little retreat is becoming the victim of progress and we are now next door to a massive construction site. We'd love to host you, but fair warning that we aren't as peaceful during the daytime. Suggested Local Attractions:Texas Renaissance Festival, Houston area attractions (zoo, aquarium, etc.), NASA, and College Station.

Access Road Conditions: It is best to approach our driveway from the south so our driveway is on the driver's left for larger vehicles. If at all possible, please plan to arrive during daylight hours. Due to low hanging trees, it is difficult to accommodate vehicles more 13 feet tall. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: On the property

Stay was 4 night long, loved staying here. friendly host, met another RV couple on their way out, great site location, easy backin and good Solar gain. be sure you reach out as you arrive, because the help pulling in and out is extremely useful, to ensure you do not add additional character to your rig.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Our host met us and helped us find the best spot for us and the dogs. Gave a tour of the schoolie he is working on! Beautiful spot with trees, birds, and the occasional roaming Chihuahua 😊

Scott and Rene were very friendly and helpful offering us water and electricity. Location is a little trickly for larger RV’s to get in and out, but Scott met us at the road and directed us where to park. Some vehicle noise could be heard and a few barking dogs in the neighborhood but mostly a quiet stay.

What a nice stop in Renée and Scott's yard! Much room, easy communication, water, power, fire ring and very welcoming hosts! We really enjoyed our stay and were very relaxed. We would love to stay again when we will be back in Houston!

Very communicative hosts, and was able to get into the drive with no issues in my 35' class A after unhooking my tow vehicle. Scott guided me right in. Super friendly couple with lots of artistic talent. i travel solo and felt so comfortable and safe at their spot. Great looped neighborhood for walking my dog, as well. i will definitely be back!
