We're Joe and Dawnica King. We've lived in Ankeny, Iowa since 2007. Joe was born and raised in Emmetsburg, Iowa area. Dawnica grew up mostly in Hampton, Iowa with a brief stay in Spencer, Iowa and born in California. We both went to college in Sheldon, Iowa earning degrees in Electrical Technologies. We're empty nesters and hope to be semi retired soon. We normally camp around Iowa now but are looking forward to hitting the highways for longer trips. Our kids live in Gilbert, Arizona - Ankeny, Iowa and Ames, Iowa.

Our in town acreage hosts were more than accommodating. Joe and Dawnica clearly care for each other and others. They are very gracious and were willing to share their beautiful home. We had a nice chat. They were flexible about our later than expected arrival due to a snow storm. Our class B fit on their driveway next to their garage. Joe had some boards to help level our unit. We feel like we have two new friends. We hope they will come visit us in MN so we Joe can catch some fish without having to be too patient.

Super nice couple, Joe and Dawnica. We stayed on their driveway due to wet grass. Joe let us borrow his cord so we could reach the plug. He also supplied boards so we were perfectly level. They truly have an in town country spot. Wonderful bike/hike trail right behind their house. Great communication. We’d definitely stay there again.
