We are on a small island. The lake is across the street. This is a very friendly quiet neighborhood where you can safely walk or ride bikes. Fishing is available at the park area with a fishing permit. I have a long place to park in front of the house and if you are traveling with another rv I can accommodate two if needed.

we are fairly easy going. Just respect the area and enjoy yourself. No generators out of consideration for my neighbors. I do have a firepit that can be used.
Location
We have a very long gravel parking area in front of the house. A tow vehicle can easily be parked there too. There is plenty of room to turn around. The street is very quiet and there is hardly any traffic on the road you would park off of.

Lisa & Ed are extremely gracious responsive hosts. Lisa provided lots of helpful info about the area. Filburns Island is a quiet island & everyone is very friendly. Lake Laramie is a lovely state park located less than 3 miles away. We enjoyed delicious chocolates from Winans about 20 minutes away in Sidney. Lisa recommended visiting Tawawa Park & we happily meandered along the many paved shady paths available to drive, walk or bike along river. Highly recommend Island Hideout for a relaxing stay.
