We have moved to a small attached home on a cul-de-sac. Parking will be in our driveway with a extension cord for electric. Your vehicle will be parked on the left side of the driveway. The entrance to our property, and the back patio where we often visit with guests are via a walkway to the left of our garage. ( the front door you can see as you pull into our driveway is our neighbors. :) For this reason we can only accommodate Class B vans that are self contained. The driveway is shared with our neighbors so we have to be strict about length. New Note (4-7-22): • Since HH does not support app notifications (like BW did) and since the SMS notifications have been spotty, we are sometimes not able to reply in a timely manner. If you do not receive a response within 48 hours, cancel your request and try again. • As we get a lot of requests, we consider the contents of your bio when deciding whether to approve or decline a stay. A sparse profile or bio may result in a decline. • Please communicate expected arrival time. A confirmation text message a couple hours before arrival is appreciated. Suggested Local Attractions: We are in premier wine country (Santa Rita appellation) with many fine tasting rooms close by. La Purisima Mission (http://www.lapurisimamission.org/) is a fine example of the California Missions and is now a State Park. Vandenberg AFB is close by and if you are lucky you might see a missile launch. Solvang is a great, if a little touristy, Danish town about 40 minutes away. Cambria and Big Sur are north of us.

House Rules
Common sense, please! :) Please try to arrive before dark. We really appreciate a text/call the morning of your arrival indicating where you are coming from (that day) and your ETA. We are non smokers and would prefer not to have folks smoking near our house. I am allergic to animals but prefer not to say "no pets". Since we can only accept Class B RV's now, I will assume any pet would be fairly small and easily contained. There is a dog park down town and it's easy to walk dogs in the neighborhood. ;) Turtles, Tortoises and Reptiles are fine. :) We do have 15 amp for your fridge and lights... AC isn't needed here. WiFi available.

It's not necessary in Lompoc anyway. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There's not room for a tow vehicle.

Ready to travel.... any time, any where. Details: Having spent 2020 replacing worn out knees and 2021 dealing with Covid, we will be in and out in the coming months. When not traveling we will be enjoying our new (little to us) home and hopefully some Boondocker company. :) Home Town: We live in Lompoc, Ca. which is near Vandenberg AFB on the Central Coast one hour north of Santa Barbara and three hours north of Los Angeles Favorite Boondocking Locations: Tuolumne Meadows in the high Sierras. Huntington Lake. Zion and Canyonlands. Highways 12 and 9 through Utah. Skills or Expertise to Share: We like visiting with travelers and sharing destination information, especially about the Central Coast of California and, really, all of the western states. And, we love learning about other peoples adventures.

Judy and Marno are great hosts. Communication was superb with Judy calling us the day before and supplied us with a road closure that may have impacted us. Thankfully we were not on that specific hwy. They are experienced RV'ers and we traded stories and tips and they were very happy to show us around their RV and invited us in to their home for a chat. The day we left our next stop was still open we received a text invitation to stay with them again the that night if needed. So nice

Judy and Marno are spectacular hosts. They are knowledgeable RV'ers. They had great recommendations for us as we picked their brains about places to stay and things to see and do. The neighborhood is exceptionally lovely, quick, and safe. They are a great asset to the Boondockers Welcome community. We look forward to the next time we get to visit with them.

Although I only met them briefly, J and M were so friendly and accommodating for my later than expected arrival time. Thank you for hosting me!

Judy and Marno are wonderful hosts. The area is gorgeous, level, quiet and behind the house are lovely oak trees and large grassy area where I walked my dog in the morning. They were very accommodating and moved their Roadtrek so that my Van could take their driveway and I appreciated the nice tour of their little home on wheels. Thanks again.
