We are only a few miles from the Cove State Park and Lake Billie Chinook. Smith Rock State Park is about 10 miles south. Central Oregon has many sights and activities to enjoy. We enjoy warm but seldom hot summers, and cool nights. Biking, hiking, fishing, boating opportunities abound. Day trips for exploring local sights and scenery available. Ask us about it! We have one primary parking spot with 50amp power on cement pad. We have several options for a second RV, but can't provide other than a 15amp extension cord power for a second guest. The second site would be on gravel, but level and not difficult to access. We have water available for tank fill-up but no water hookups. The second site would work well for someone needing a quiet, safe overnight or short stay with minimal amenities. If our main space is booked, but you need a place to stay- email and ask us about availability, even last minute. We will accommodate you if possible. Suggested Local Attractions: Cove Palisades State Park, Smith Rock State Park, Lake Billie Chinook for boating, water skiing and fishing. Easy day trips to Painted Hills, Shaniko ghost town, and Deschutes River recreation.

John and Karen could not have been better hosts! They were so welcoming, allowing us to stay during a holiday week and even offering us their car to use! Being able to plug in and fill up our water tank was perfect. We took many walks around their property and enjoyed the sunsets and sunrises behind the mountain views. Definitely recommend and would stay here again if we’re in the area!

John and Karen had to be out of town so they gave us contact information for their neighbor Mike. He came over as soon as he saw us arrive. A few hours later we had an issue with our Camper and Mike came over and spent 30-minutes trying to help us figure it out in the dark. It was 30 degrees, and the wind was blowing hard...what a trooper! The spot is lovely and K & J gave us great directions! We will visit again in January/

They should be charging for this spot! John and Karen were very easy to communicate with and were extremely welcoming hosts. The highlight for us, was that they allowed our dogs to run in their huge open field. The spot is large and level, tucked by the barn and private. The spring water and the views were fantastic, sunset and sunrise. Just wow. Definately looking forward to our return trip so that we can stay here again!
