We live on 5 acres that was once a tree farm, which we're converting into a homestead / diverse hobby farm. If you want to see more, follow us on Instagram @ QuengaFarm where we post almost daily. We're located 30 minutes south of the I-40, 15 minutes to Chino Valley and about 40 to Prescott. If you're headed to/from Phoenix, we're about 2 hours away. Most seem to visit us to see the Grand Canyon, which is an hour and 40 minutes to the park's entrance. We are born and raised suburb kids with zero experience farming. But, after a 7-week road trip in our camper with 3 young boys (the youngest turned 2 months old the day before we left)... we decided we wanted to sell our dream home in Scottsdale, and move 2 hours north to live a quieter, slower, and so far a much more satisfying way of life. We moved here at the end of May 2022, so the farm is mostly under construction. However, we currently have 27 chickens, 2 goats, 1 pet pig, 4 pigs we're raising for meat, 2 Great Pyrenees pups and a pet bunny. You may even see an owl or 2 that have a nest on our property.

We are a family of 5 that loves to camp and travel. In 2021, we took our 3 boys across the country on a 7 week road trip in our brand new travel trailer. It was the first time we ever took a trip RVing and we were hooked. We met so many great people that we wanted to continue experiencing the RV life, even when not traveling. We came back, finished renovations on our house in Scottsdale, sold and bought 5 acres in Paulden, AZ. We are now starting a small farm and opening our property to host our fellow travelers.

This review is a bit late...I am behind. I stayed Jan 10-12. Unfortunately I had to work so was holed up in my camper majority of the time. The short amount of time I was able to visit with the farms owners was delightful. They really are going places with this farm, they have big visions for the future and aren't afraid to get dirty to make it happen. I hope to get back to see them again soon to see the farms progress. Very quick responding to messages, no issues with communication at all. A small fee to use power and water was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!

The hosts were lovely and offered us a great respite on our way to the Grand Canyon. Hope to come back and see the evolution of their farm.

Very kind, cool people. We enjoyed hearing their story and reasoning for moving from city life to farm life. It’s wonderful to meet dreamers that can make it happen. Their property is an old tree farm with lots of potential. I can’t wait to visit during harvest season to see their progress. Well-behaved children and cute animals. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We were there for Thanksgiving. And they not only accepted our request, but offered us to join them as well. My kids had great time playing with their kids and after our departure they asked every day when we were going to come back. -We are coming back.. Meeting families like them make the travel experience way more special. I wish them all the best with so many wonderful projects and hopefully we can keep in contact for long time. Thank You Guys!

We stayed 2 nights, they provided us power at a very reasonable rate, my kids enjoyed the chicken, pigs, goats and dogs. We will be back if we are in the area!
