My place will work best for someone traveling north or south on 95 in a small motor home or a small trailer and needing a stopover for a night. You'll be parked in (or next to) my driveway in front of a garage where my vehicle will be. If you arrive in the evening and leave in the morning it will be simple, otherwise we might have to move vehicles around a little so I can get out. Technically campers and trailers can't be parked in the yard. But this is a beach town and everyone does it...until someone complains. Please be circumspect to keep the neighbors happy. Suggested Local Attractions: The beach (1/2 mile), 30 minutes to St. Augustine, 2.5 hours to Orlando, lots of kayaking/fishing nearby. Also Publix, Trader Joes, and Home Depot in walking distance if you need stuff

I'm a professor and a writer Details: I've been everywhere! I bought my first camper in 2018 (Rod 172). And I just sold it to buy a similar-sized Lance 1475. I travel from Florida to Maine every summer and last year out to Arizona, New Mexico, California and up through Nevada and Wyoming. This summer heading to Yellowstone after a stop in Maine. Met lots of Boondockers Welcome folks along the way and want to pay it forward by hosting some at my place when I can. Home Town: I live in Jacksonville FL but I don't really call that home. I'm originally from Bath Maine; still pretty much home, but my heart is always in California. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Rincon Parkway in Ventura Skills or Expertise to Share: I'm a kayaker and a fly fisher.

We very much enjoyed our stop here. The neighbourhood was great for strolling and we had a quiet rest. Very as a host and very central to explore the area around Jax Beach and Neptune Beach. The parking was tight but we knew that from the reviews.

Julie was an amazing host! She allowed us to shift our date to a day earlier, she communicated well, and she made us feel really welcome! She even offered power and water, but we didn't need either. We'd love to stay there again some day and have more time to chat!
