Situated within 3 acres on a hilltop overlooking the city of Bristol. This is also a Certified Wildlife Habitat with many different types of animals. Although we have seen no signs of bears, there are deer, rabbits, opossums, foxes, squirrels, owls, hawks, eagles, cats, dogs and yes, skunks. They stay mainly in the lower meadow areas, but they do wonder through at night. Otherwise, it is a peaceful quiet area. No power available at this time. Fresh water can be provided. No dumping on site. I do have a circle drive that I have negotiated a 25 foot trailer with 2wd truck, no problem. PLEASE NOTICE: I TRAVEL MYSELF SO SITE IS NOT AVAILABLE FROM NOVEMBER THRU MARCH. Suggested Local Attractions:Bristol Motor Speedway, Bristol Caverns, Many area Golf Courses, Steele Creek Park, Warriors Path State Park, South Holston Lake and recreation area, Boone Lake, Watauga Lake, Rocky Mount, Sycamore Schoals Park and Cherokee National Forest. Nothing but Time! Details: I am a retired Architectural Designer. Have been camping since I have known I was alive. From tent camping, backpacking, trailer, truck camping and motorhomes, I have spent most of my life camping. I am now a traveler, retired and with a truck camper. I love it because I can pull in anywhere a car can park, from downtown USA to any scenic vista without having to worry about a place to stop and or park. Home Town: Bristol, Tennessee, population 45,000. Twin city with the state line running down the middle of the street. One side is Tennessee and the other side is Virginia. I live in East Tennessee where Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina come together. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Pretty much anywhere in the USA. Skills or Expertise to Share: Orienteering & Navigation. Design & Problem Solving.

We had excellent communication leading up to our arrival and received a warm welcome. Had a great spot that was level and provided excellent opportunity for solar. The host was very informative on the area and liked to travel as well. Very quiet location and easy to access. Highly recommend.

We spent just one night here, but the host was very accommodating and helped us out with getting in and hooking up. Very interesting stories!

This was our first experience and it was great and stress free. Dennis and his wife made up feel welcome and were there to guide us into the spot. We came to Bristol to pick up relatives and this location turned out to be a mile from where we needed to be. They have a beautiful backyard view and fire pit area, unfortunately we were on a mission and didn’t get much relaxing time. Great place and great people.
