Hi, we are Peter and Jen. Peter is a retired cabinetmaker. Jen is a visual artist. We purchased our 2021 Ford Transit van last year and have been slowly converting it into our tiny home, away from home. Our .5 acre property is located near beautiful beaches and many forest trails on the Sunshine Coast of BC which we use for mountain biking, hiking and foraging. We love meeting new people, seeing new places and look forward to meeting fellow RVs.

We could not have enjoyed our stay with Jen and Pete any more! They were so welcoming and kind... even giving us watermelon for breakfast! We enjoyed swapping van tours and travel stories :) Don’t miss seeing their beautiful art and wood projects!

Highly recommended. In addition to being welcoming hosts, Peter and Jan are an amazingly talented couple. They were eager to meet our needs and made us feel right at home. We spent a very quiet night here, though a doe and two fawns did come through our camp site the next morning. Beautiful. Be sure to ask Jan about her wonderful artwork. Thank you both for a wonderful stay. We look forward to stopping by again next time.

I booked 2 nights with Jen and Peter in august 2022. the very beginning showed me that these are two very hospitable and easy going people. because i had to tell them from horseshoe bay that my ferry was three hours late and so i would not arrive at my hosts until midnight. this was no problem for the hosts, they told me that they will be asleep by then, but that i should just drive to their parking lot and spend the night there. the next day Jen advised me very kindly and helpfully on nice places to visit, such as smuggler cove marine state park. she also told me that in the evening there would be a parade of old cars very close to her and invited me to visit and watch the parade. i did so in the evening and it was very impressive, interesting and for me as a european a new experience. i really appreciated this very beautiful, quiet, friendly and special place and can heartily recommend it.

Hosts were welcoming and helpful. A lovely, quiet spot to stay en route up the Sunshine Coast. We enjoyed visiting places we would otherwise have passed by. Sargeant Bay close by and perfect for peaceful beach meanderings. Enjoyed seeing Jen’s beautiful artwork.
