High desert retreat with beautiful star gazing nights. Plenty of hiking trails including 20 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park. Restaurants within 10 to 20 minutes including the famous Pappy and Harriet's at Pioneer Town. Sites are in a natural setting among the Joshua trees. Hero market is one mile away with all your supplies and dumping station.

Our host asked us for $20 to park. Weve never been asked to pay for a Boondockers Welcome spot before. He said it was a “donation” but made it clear he wanted us to pay it. its a nice spot but we didnt feel comfortable so we left
