* Update: We are fully booked on all 4 sites till 02-29. We have some general parking without power available. This is the beautiful wild coast of Florida's "Big Bend." Located halfway between Perry to the north and Steinhatchee to the south, Keaton Beach is an outpost town with a laidback, relaxing atmosphere. No motels, no fast food. The wild, natural public beach has a shaded picnic area, restrooms, a boat ramp and a 700-foot fishing pier. These are prime scalloping waters from mid to late summer, and the area is famous for year-round fishing. We have 4 RV spots available close to the Gulf of Mexico. Only an 8 minute drive to the sandy swimming beach of Keaton Beach (see pic above) or 20 min walking distance to Adams Sunset Beach. Stop by on your way to South Florida or up north. We do not have a maximum stay. The first night is always free, 2nd to 14th night for a nominal fee of $ 25 per night including utilities. We have 50 amp power, excellent well water, and all sites with sewer. Due to the high costs of getting power to the property we charge a small fee for a 50/30 amp connection. Please bring your 50/30 adapter. If you see "occupied" in the calendar we probably still have sites available. (we have a total of 4) Just contact us using a "free" day. What can you do in our area? Keaton Beach swimming area, fishing, legally ATV riding on miles of dirt roads, golf carts allowed on public streets, nature trails for hiking and bird watching, Hagen Cove Park is one of the darkest spots in Florida for stars watching, dinner at the Nowhere Grill, a day trip to Tallahassee with the Railroad Square ( 55 min ) Lafayette Blue Springs State Park (40 min ), St. Marks Lighthouse (55 min )

Personally, this was not the ideal harvest host location for me. Were it not for the people I met when I first pulled in I would have left. It was not a safe location to walk my dogs. I also didn't feel safe there. However, my neighbors loved it...so, it's just a matter of what you're looking for.

We stayed three nights. We paid for hookup for two nights. The spaces are close together and there's not much of a view. . No dogs allowed on the beach at Keaton Beach. Adams Sunset Beach is a good walk but much on the road. We like to walk with our dogs. Here we had to drive a bit to find some good trails in Big Bend Wildlife ManagementThis boondocker has a RV park feel and will meet your needs if you're needing 1-2 nights. You'll be comfortable here. No frills. An extended stay here wouldn't work well for us because of our interests. Thank you for the stay.

We arrived in a long downpour but Kai and Lisas spot was paved and dry. Very helpful, but we didn't ask for electric so we we not given a formal site, instead off to the side. No problem once we got settled there- nice and level. Thanks for sharing your new RV spot with us and good luck with your plans there! Mark & Kate

This was a nice place to rest and explore. Yes, the spots are on the small side but we were able to fit our class A with one slide and put out the awning. There's plenty of room to walk the dogs around the property, and a nice outdoor bar and grill called the Nowhere Grill not far away. Short drive to Keaton Beach for kids, or a healthy walk down to small beach boat launch for the dogs. We would definitely stay here again!

We were able to stop on our way from Pensacola to Manatee Springs at Kai and Lisa's and had a great time there. Very convenient to have a place to do the small things - you know like wash all our dishes. The only constructive is that you need to somehow request a utility site which I don't see a way to do on Boondocker's unless you put that in your message to them. One of the sites was open for that and so we were able to get it, just be sure you communicate that you want a full hook up site if you want one. Good convenient place to stop over.
