Welcome to Mama’s Mountain Haven, my serene mountain homestead! This is 5 acres of raw land with no utilities yet. Parking is in front of the tree line, anywhere you want if you can fit it. I trust your judgement with your own rig. There is now a rough road cut through the woods to access the old bootlegging road at the back of my property. If you can make it through, you can use it! My rig is a 2011 30’ Forest River Flagstaff Super Lite and I have it facing the woods for more privacy. I have a primitive cinderblock fire pit and bench you are welcome to use. It has been moved away from the trees since that picture. The woods are beautiful to hike in, with wild blackberries and strawberries along with a small stream. Suggested Local Attractions:I actually just moved to Rocky Mount so I’m not sure! I do know how to get to Kroger though lol.

Elayna and Lenora are very sweet. We enjoyed our stay with them very much. We have a 29 foot Class A motorhome and separate vehicle. Even though there is 5 acres of land, the only spot we found to fit our vehicle was right beside their home. The land is not cleared elsewhere. It is also not very level. If it has rained, the ground is soft, as well. Just keep that in mind. There are 3 dogs now; Stout, Drizzle and Sunny. Beautiful dogs, but as mentioned before, they will want to be right up on you. Road was fairly quiet, and there is a grassy turnaround at the end of the road. Watch for some washout in the road. Not sure why I am unable to add photos. Thank you Ladies!!

Had a nice stay and good conversations with host. Aera was not level but with a few leveling blocks it was Acceptable. I was parked close to the road but there was very little traffic and the cars that went by where driving slow, never got woken up by noise. I would stay again if I ever go through the area again.

Very friendly and welcoming host. Quiet property on a dead-end gravel road. Great place to star gaze on a clear night. Parking is not level, you will need something to level with. I would stay there again.

Site had very limited space and was uneven, little privacy due to close road traffic.

My host was quite friendly and generous. Although unable to meet in person she extended the offer to use her fire pit and swing, and stressed making myself welcome and comfortable. I had a good Verizon signal and a fair AT&T signal. If you need to run to town for supplies it’s only 10 minutes or so, and highway access is about the same. Much better than a parking lot while traveling, and there’s shade until late morning. From noon on I had good strong sun to charge up my solar.
