We were so happy to be close to our downtown LA destination while feeling like we were in the country. Kathy was not there, but very accommodating over the phone. It was difficult to find a level spot. We were able to use our leveling devices, and Kathy even let us top up our water tanks!

Turn from the street was a bit tight but not a problem. We did pass the turn to the parking are but returning was simple enough.

This is a hidden gem. I have family that lives in Altadena, so this will become a regular stop for us. There are several spots that are level, or level enough that anything from a van, to a trailer or 5th wheel and motorhomes can get leveled out . There is room to turn around in the camping area. But if there are other campers there when you arrive, you might have to do a few Y turns. We camped here in a 36ft 5th wheel. The comments about the access being too narrow for bigger rigs is cautionary. But I came in off the city street without touching the trees or bushes. Then the turn off their driveway into the camping area was just as easy. If I can get it uploaded, I have a video of part of our drive into the property. Kathy herself is super friendly and very accomodating. She wants to improve her spot by making more of it leveled out.

Kathy was amazing. She went above and beyond in her accommodations for me while I was there which I really appreciated. While the space was set back from the road, the directions where clear and easy to understand. It's basically a dirt cul-de-sac that has a small field next to it which was great for my puppies to run around and get their energy out. Kathy greeted me upon arrival and invited me to park wherever I felt comfortable. She informed me they were preoccupied for the evening but to make myself comfortable. I took my dogs for a little hike and came back before dark. It was so nice to feel like I was in a more rural area even though I was in a neighborhood. A hidden gem for sure. I would note that one of the neighbors has a small farm that is part of the cul-de-sac area which meant a few random animal noises (Not disruptive & didn’t bother me or my dogs at all) Thank you for sharing this little oasis and being so hospitable during my stay!

What a great big place. We stayed here last night and there was plenty of room for a few RV’s. Perfectly quiet, a perfect place to spend the night. We would definitely stay again!
