School nurse with a fully retired husband. Recently purchased a pull behind camper so we can travel and see more of the good ole USA. We volunteer for humanitarian work after major disasters and plan on using our camper as a home away from home during those deployments. We have 2 small fur babies , Izzy a peekapoo and Yahzi a poodle mix that will travel with us when possible.

You can't go wrong when your host greets you with homemade apple jelly! Beautiful spot in the rural outskirts of Cortez. Parking was level and spacious amongst the apple trees. A 10 minute drive to Phils World mountain bike area. Highly recommended. Thanks again for the stay!!

Mac and Kay are excellent hosts, great people with a nice piece of property they share. Had several conversations with them and enjoyed their company. We stayed with them, and they gave us a gift of Crabapple jelly!

A top 10 spot for us! We were greeted at the gate and had a great chat. Kay gave us a jar of her homemade apricot preserves that would win a blue ribbon at any state fair! We will be back to visit this area more. Thank You Mac and Kay
