Tucked away on a peaceful, quiet road, our premises offer a perfect setting for your stay. You can soak up the solitude of our expansive, fenced backyard, equipped with a firepit for your enjoyment—rest assured, we usually have a generous supply of wood ready upon request. We warmly welcome dog owners to our property. Additionally, a hose is available in the backyard for filling up water jugs as needed. And access to electricity in case you need to refill your batteries or for any other usage. Our residence is home to two friendly dogs, who, if you'd prefer, can be kept indoors during your stay. Attention Elk Island Enthusiasts: If your itinerary includes a trip to see Elk Island's bisons, please consider the advice we've received from previous visitors: the best time for viewing is usually as early in the morning as possible, seen comfortably from your vehicle. Alternatively, for those inclined towards a bit of hiking, the bisons can often be spotted in the woods, though a hearty trek may be necessary. It's worth noting that May and early June mark the bisons' mating season, and it's essential to be mindful of their behaviour during this time. The Elk Island staff are exceptional and will promptly inform you about the bisons' whereabouts and the optimal times to view or spot them.
