Tucked away on a peaceful, quiet road, our premises offer a perfect setting for your stay. You can soak up the solitude of our expansive, fenced backyard, equipped with a firepit for your enjoyment—rest assured, we usually have a generous supply of wood ready upon request. We warmly welcome dog owners to our property. Additionally, a hose is available in the backyard for filling up water jugs as needed. And access to electricity in case you need to refill your batteries or for any other usage. Our residence is home to two friendly dogs, who, if you'd prefer, can be kept indoors during your stay. Attention Elk Island Enthusiasts: If your itinerary includes a trip to see Elk Island's bisons, please consider the advice we've received from previous visitors: the best time for viewing is usually as early in the morning as possible, seen comfortably from your vehicle. Alternatively, for those inclined towards a bit of hiking, the bisons can often be spotted in the woods, though a hearty trek may be necessary. It's worth noting that May and early June mark the bisons' mating season, and it's essential to be mindful of their behaviour during this time. The Elk Island staff are exceptional and will promptly inform you about the bisons' whereabouts and the optimal times to view or spot them. Location

We kindly request, if possible, that you pull in nose first, as the entrance is typically on the passenger side. We have a wonderful relationship with our neighbour who appreciates her front lawn remaining untrampled. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Road Access Conditions: Street parking is available for larger vehicles (over 35ft). Vehicles less than 35ft can comfortably park in the driveway, which does have a slight slope. The neighbourhood streets are paved and sufficiently wide. Details for Tow Vehicle Parking: You are welcome to use the driveway to unhook your trailer, and then park your vehicle on the street. There are no restrictions, and you may also choose to park both your tow vehicle and trailer on the driveway.

Gilles was extremely welcoming, great to chat to and generously offered us the opportunity to hook up to electricity, which was most welcomed as it was very cold. We highly recommend staying here.

Gilles and Kim are the most wonderful people to boondock with. We have just had 3 days with them and their beautiful dogs Kirra and Analogue and every evening was spent in the back garden with them till late. Nothing is to much trouble for them and we rate them a 10 out of 10 😁😁

Gilles & Kim were fabulous, provided info on hotspots, how to get there, where to park, etc Driveway was flat, just slight curve so depends on wheel base if you feel it. Big weeping willow has branches that kissed RV but fibe by us so long as fibe by them. They offered water, wifi, and friendly conversation. Much appreciated!!
