This is a historic church. Only a couple blocks to city center. Great restaurants and live music. Beautiful historic city. When open, our escape room is an amazing entertainment facility. We welcome guests to book an adventure. Suggested Local Attractions:220 cafe, 4th Street Brewing, Southern Distillery, and more very close by. Lots of historic charm!

Location

Access Road Conditions: Narrow entry to business with a little incline. If you ride low please pass because we don’t want to damage property. Parking across from building parallel to building for flattest spot. No morning customers so plenty of turn around space. Large rigs with tow not accepted due to past bad experiences... seems some don’t really know how to drive what they own. So limits are fairly firm. May require that you disconnect tow to park. Across from police station but quiet. Residential but minimal gen use is ok during the day. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: May need to disconnect to park but plenty of room.

RV campers welcoming others Details: We own a couple historic buildings in Statesville, NC. One is a historic church that houses our escape room business. We are a fairly high tech, cutting edge facility in a great historic church and love to share the charm of our city with others. Our home is nearby and is also a historic structure; a grand 1870’s second empire Victorian. We enjoy meeting others who like to camping too and sharing our Covid free environments. Home Town: Statesville, NC- a beautiful historic city in central NC only 50 miles north of Charlotte. It is the land time forgot with tree lined streets and cafes. Our location is an easy walk to city center. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We love boondocking on farms and out of the way locations and look forward to going west this fall. Skills or Expertise to Share: We do a lot of renovation... our home, business and even our ‘99 Tiffin are projects that keep us busy.

Was just passing through, but really enjoyed staying here for the night! Walked into town and grabbed some food on the main drag. The town has it's own vibe and I found the entire experience to be a random highlight from my trip :]

Hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Location is super convenient to downtown. We were there on a Monday when shops were closed, but it was still pleasant to window shop along the main street. City Civic Center is nearby and has public restrooms. The old church is beautiful. We hope to stay here again when the Key to Escape room is open.

This was a great place to stay overnight. The business was currently closed so lots of flexibility on where we parked. Lot is not flat but we had no trouble getting level. The hosts connected with us via texts to make sure all was well and said we could plug in to electric. Statesville is a delightful little town with lots of cute shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this stop!

Hosts were the sweetest! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of their town. Charming little church building. They offered us power hook up and let us get some water for our fresh tank. We enjoyed the evening and got a good nights sleep. Will plan to stay here again next time we come back this way and hopefully check out their escape rooms when open.
