Location
Access Road Conditions: It is usually best to come in from Route 5 in West Burke village. Turn left just before Mike's gas station and head up Burke Hill. At the top of the hill, the road hooks to the right and then our road (Gaskell Hill) will be on the left. Our drive is on the left across from two mailboxes and a little kiosk with firewood and fresh eggs (available for purchase). The driveway is packed and branches off to a grassy strip on the left part way down, to the field where we have cleared the area for Boondocking. Guests can drive through and turn up the driveway to come and go. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Plenty of room in the field

Happiest in nature Details: We are grateful every day to be living and working in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom. Our home is situated on 10 acres with views of Burke Mountain and Willoughby Gap. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking! We have a spring fed pond, trails for walking, and we are near the Kingdom Trails (for those of you who are mountain bikers). There are several general stores only a mile away and a larger town is about a 10 minute drive. We would love to share our beautiful property, and area of Vermont, with you! Home Town: West Burke, VT Favorite Boondocking Locations: We are brand new to Boondocking Skills or Expertise to Share: We love to cook, kayak, explore, and create. Our favorite way to spend a summer evening is to gather with family and friends around the campfire and outdoor dance platform. Lisa was born and raised in Burke and Lauren has lived in the NEK for 20 years so, between the two of us, we can help you make the most of your stay in our beautiful corner of Vermont.

Lauren and Lisa provided a lovely spot, gave me great tips for exploring the area, and their sweet dog Neeko was fun to hang out with. A perfect host spot

Super amazing location, hosts pay attention to every little detail. If I am in this area again I will definitely try to stay here. Very communicative, and a beautiful setting for a couple evenings. Pet friendly, very good amenities a pond walking paths were very clear, instructions were very clear, campsite was extremely clean, beautiful views, picnic table, very private and quiet. Access to the Kingdom Trail system was super close only about 12 minutes away from the first entrance. Which made our stay even better.

The stars the view, the amenities, picnic table, fire pit, pond, walking path. We couldn’t have asked for more. The Hosts were very responsive to texts. The parking area is pristine. Very close to the Bike trails. If we are in the area again we will definitely try to stay here again.

We were so grateful that lgraderfox accepted our request! Communications before and during our stay were excellent. The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel right at home immediately. Not only is this a very beautiful and peaceful location, the hosts had a great campfire that kept us warm as we chatted for hours. We were able to use Verizon here unlike some other parts of the state. Hope to get together with them in the future.
