We are located in the West part of Montreal island, near the Pierre Elliott Trudeau airport, in Dorval City. This is about 20-30 minutes drive from downtown Montreal. Public transporation is also a viable option. We live in a quiet residential area, with little traffic. Please note that we do hear the planes from a distance, but nothing drastic. Water hookup and 15 amp electricity is available. There is a free dump station within 5 miles from our location. As an FYI, there are a couple of safe municipal parking lots in my area where longer rigs can dry camp, up to 24 hours. Suggested Local Attractions:Montreal is a wonderful city, with a great "joie de vivre", alot of culture and history... where you can easily find great French food as well as from many other ethnicities. We have many excellent festivals (Jazz, Just for Laughs, Francopholies, etc) and sporting events (such as formula 1 racing). It is a very safe city where English is widely spoken but French the main language.

We absolutely loved our stay at our host's property. They share their driveway with a very nice next door neighbor, driveway could be a little tight with the neighbor's car however she was so kind to offer to move it and gave us extra space so it was not a problem at all. With this location being within 20min drive without traffic it was very convenient to visit Montreal. Our host was so nice and welcoming, he gave us great recommendations, we had a great chat and wished we could've stay longer. We absolutely recommend this place, it's always nice when you stay at a place where you feel welcome from the start.

We had an excellent visit to Montreal, using this stay as a two night home-base for our time there. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We found the neighborhood to be very quiet for being in proximity to such a large city, and felt safe.

We stayed 3 nights at LMKM. Marc, Karin, Lauren and Marianne are wonderful people. Karin graciously greeted us upon our arrival. Marc checked in with us every evening to make sure we have everything we need. Our host was very responsive, helpful, and engaging. We definitely recommend to others.

We enjoyed our stay in the driveway of this friendly and helpful family. They recommended us to take the beautiful bike trail along the canal to Montreal City and explained us how to get to town with public transportation and where to buy the tickets. So we had two great days exploring Montreal.
