We are located in the West part of Montreal island, near the Pierre Elliott Trudeau airport, in Dorval City. This is about 20-30 minutes drive from downtown Montreal. Public transporation is also a viable option. We live in a quiet residential area, with little traffic. Please note that we do hear the planes from a distance, but nothing drastic. Water hookup and 15 amp electricity is available. There is a free dump station within 5 miles from our location. As an FYI, there are a couple of safe municipal parking lots in my area where longer rigs can dry camp, up to 24 hours. Suggested Local Attractions:Montreal is a wonderful city, with a great "joie de vivre", alot of culture and history... where you can easily find great French food as well as from many other ethnicities. We have many excellent festivals (Jazz, Just for Laughs, Francopholies, etc) and sporting events (such as formula 1 racing). It is a very safe city where English is widely spoken but French the main language.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at LMKM. The neighborhood was quiet & friendly. Our hosts très géniale. We enjoyed our dinner one evening on their deck while we watched them fix their pool. Hopefully the fix worked. 😉 Merci beaucoup!!

Montreal is an amazing city that caters to cyclists and this location provided easy access to it. We were able to explore the city by bike from here. Flat driveway in a quiet area with hosts who were very nice and spoke both French and English. Would definitely recommed this stay.

Mark and his family are excellent hosts! He called to let me know more about the parking before I arrived. He also gave me great recommendations for how to use public transportation to get around Montreal. He loves meeting new people and learning their travel stories. Be prepared to back in the driveway close to the house to leave room for the neighbor. But it isn't too hard. It was such a pleasure to stay here!

The hosts were very kind to host us for two nights. Very friendly people. The driveway is not huge but it was more than enough for our van. This allowed us to discover Montreal a bit. We used an Uber to get in and out of the city which is a massive construction site. However, ever this short visit, we know that Montreal is a city that has a lot to offer. Our concern was noise since we were sleeping in a pop-up tent. While the airport is very close, there is not a lot of noise during the night and the street is super quiet. So we had no troubles sleeping. Thank you for having us.

The place is located in a beautiful mature neighborhood in Dorval near the airport. Huge trees lined the streets and it was very quiet. Its near the airport but we did not hear the planes at all. There is a big park at the end of the street to walk to and enjoy. We met the owner who was very accomodating to our needs and provided some information on things to see and places to go in Montreal. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quite place to relax and get a great sleep.
