You are setting up between their home and the highway, but the welcoming attitude from the 3 generations of the Morrow family will dispell the feeling of imposing on them. Great location with lakeview! Good area to explore. Grist mill, covered bridges and don't miss frozen custard at Sycamore Drivein stand.

Mike and his wife are great hosts. Mike was there when we arrived and helped us get situated. Power and water were available but with our class A it is easier to run on generator for a single night. Nice view of the lake and easy to get back to the highway in the morning. I would recommend Lake Shafer if you are looking for an overnight stop in the area.

Enjoyed 50 amp electric, water, and access to dump station. Very accomodating, friendly, and helpful. I recommend using Lake Shaffer Host 100%

It is easy to find, easy to park. Even though you are close to the road, no noise or lights. Great, on road, walking right on a lake. There is an Amusement park nearby that I walked to.
