This is where we fell in love with sailing and travelling. Retired since 2012, we haven't traveled much so far, as we take care of Lise's mum, but we look forward to being able to travel more often in the years to come. In the winter of 2017-2018 we purchased "RV Boondocking in Southern Texas" and had a wonderful 6 weeks on the road. Home Town: We were until now in La Baie, Saguenay, but we sold our house and we will build our new house this summer in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Québec province, in the village of Saint-Malachie. We will not be ready to welcome people this year, but from 2023 and on, we will be happy to welcome you. Marc is a keen woodworker, and Lise a passionate birdwatcher. Nous avons vécu pendant 15 ans au Moyen-Orient où Marc travaillait en tant qu'ingénieur informaticien. C’est là que nous sommes tombés en amour avec la voile et les voyages. À la retraite depuis 2012, nous n'avons pas beaucoup voyagé à date, car nous prenons soins de la maman de Lise, mais nous sommes impatients de pouvoir partir plus souvent dans les années à venir. À l’hiver 2017-2018, nous avons acheté "RV Boondocking in Southern Texas" et nous avons passé 6 semaines merveilleuses sur la route. Home Town: Nous étions jusqu'à maintenant à La Baie au Saguenay, mais nous avons vendu notre maison et nous nous construirons cet été dans notre nouveau coin de pays, Saint-Malachie, dans la région de Chaudière-Appalaches, au Québec. Nous ne serons pas prêts à accueillir des gens cette année, mais à partir de 2023 il nous fera plaisir de vous accueillir. Des Hôtes exceptionnelles, un endroit superbe. Accueil chaleureux et généreux. Séjour facile sans tralala et des hôtes passionnées de voile et autres sujets qui intéressent le monde d'aujourd'hui. Nous y reviendrons surement. Absolument conseillé dans le réseau des "Bonndockers". Great Hosts, beautiful place. Warm welcome and generous hosts. Easy going stay without any fuss and with folks that are passionate about sailing and other worldwide life issues. We shall be back. Absolutely recommended within the Boondockers community.

Nous avons eu une excellente première expérience. Les hôtes de Gribou étaient merveilleux et nous avons adoré la petite Coquine. Très accueillant et généreux pour le temps qu'ils nous ont accordé et l'utilisation de leur terrain. Nous avons passé deux nuits reposantes dans leur magnifique environnement en pleine nature. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous recommandons cet endroit de Boondocking. Super pour le vélo, la randonnée et la baignade, si vous aimé l'eau froide :). We had an excellent first time experience. The hosts from Gribou were wonderful and we loved the little Coquine. Very welcoming and generous with both their time and the use of their land. We spent two restful nights in their beautiful environment surrounded by nature.We loved our stay and absolutely recommend this Boondocking location. Great for cycling, hiking and swimming, if you like cold water :).

We had a wonderful time exploring the Saguenay area and the many great places our hosts told us about. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our hosts and were a bit sad to leave! We would be very happy to host them at our place anytime, and would not hesitate to ask to stay again if we are back in the area. While the driveway is a bit of a challenge, the view at the top is wonderful! Merci beaucoup!

From arrival to departure, everything about our stay with Griboo was great. Great location, view and site, great hosts and great hospitality. Great !!!
