La Paz, BCS, Mexico! What a beautiful city. That is what you will say after staying here your first night. Linda Vista is just out of La Paz in the quiet village of El Centenario. Positioned on a hill 300 feet in elevation above the Bay of La Paz and the City of La Paz across the bay. Relaxing on your lawn chair and watching the lights of La Paz come on at night and then to see her is full display after dark is a relaxing part of the day. If your timing is right, you will watch the full moon rise from behind mountains on the back side of La Paz and cast moon beams that reflect so bright on the Bay of La Paz. The RV sites are part of just under 2 acres of natural desert. On the property is a 1/3 mile nature trail winding through a vast variety of cactus and home to various wildlife. If you are a bird watcher you will be entertained with Cardinals, Cara Cara, two types of Oriels, Desert Wrens, Ground Doves and a hosts of others. Suggested Local Attractions:LInda Vista is only 6 miles away from the outer Bay of La Paz with endless beaches with very few people. We have watched Whale Sharks swim by as we relaxed on the beach. It is a 15 minute, 7 mile drive into La Paz if you need Walmart, Sam's Club, Home Depot, Liverpool Mall or large grocery stores. A few miles more and you reach the Malecón a beautiful tiled walk along the bay in the city that stretches for nearly 4 miles. The list of places to go and things to see and experience in La Paz is too big to print!

Retired couple that loves the full time RV life! Details: Soon after I retired from nursing we sold our home and rentals to our son and began full time RV life. We are nearly three years into it now. Traveling is in my wife’s DNA as much as mine. We spend a fair amount of time at our home base 10 acres to be part of our grandchildren’s lives who all live within an hours drive. As a second career I am a custom cabinetmaker and furniture builder. Also, making wine, mostly fruit wines is a great pastime for me. The fruits are mostly from our own property. Living the RV lifestyle has afforded us to meet so many people from across this country. Home Town: Lebanon, Oregon is a small town of about 16,000. I was born in our hospital here right after it was built. Twenty years later I returned as a new nurse and the woman who hired me was the same one who signed my birth certificate! I spent most of my career about 50 yards from where I was born. When growing up this was very much a logging and wood industry town. Much of that is gone but our town is transforming into a university town. About ten years ago a medical school was built here and they now have nearly 410 medical students. That is stirring up other related businesses in the town. We maintain about ten wooded acres on the edge of town that we call home when not traveling. Very quiet but near to downtown activities. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We travel the 1000 mile length of the Baja about every year. Two of our favorite places to boondock on that journey are Playa Santispac on the Bahia de Concepcion and Santa Ynez a cattle ranch in the middle of nowhere near Cataviña. Skills or Expertise to Share: Having lived most of my life here we are able to direct you to many of the areas of interest when visiting.

We had a wonderful stay at Don and Linda’s place. They helped us more than we could of imagine. They are very generous and welcoming person. It will be an honour and a pleasure to go at their boondockers welcome place in Oregon one day.

Wow, a place couldn't be more beautiful. Although the hosts were still traveling, communication was excellent and they were very friendly and helpful. We very much hope to get to know the Gastger personally at some point. All we can do now is thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything. We really enjoyed the days in LaPaz.

We stayed two nights and are already planning coming back soon! This place is absolutely amazing. The view on La Paz is great, close to the city but far enough to be very quiet. Full hook up, very accommodating and convenient. The host is super helpful and you can feel he loves having people over. He literally built a small RV park on his property, which is fenced so very secure. We had never seen great accommodations like this. He left us the key of the gate so we can leave and come back during our stay. Wish we could visit his place in Oregon! Love it! 😍

We enjoyed several days with these wonderful hosts near La Paz Baja. They have provided a wonderful sanctuary. They also gave us lots of tips for traveling in Baja. Can’t wait to stay with them again
