Mr n Mrs Zona (Kenneth n Laura from Arizona) Details: More to come ~ Laura - Welcome and pull up a seat. I moved to Amazing Arizona from Oregon via Colorado, I tend to be more of a scenic route taker. I am grateful to be a follower of Christ and am blessed to walk each day in his grace and love. I prefer the homemade touch because it always includes love as an ingredient and in the harshness that reality can bring to a person's life- there is always room for love. I enjoy writing and encouraging others in their Christian walk as well as people I just happened to meet. I believe in valuing the person in front of me at each moment of each day so if there is a need- let's address it right now and move forward towards the goal that we are called to- to love one another. I enjoy cooking although with my recent health issues that have forced me to retire due to short term memory issues from a TBI- some times I can get overwhelmed though. I am looking forward to learning how to make furniture, gardening and sewing. I would like to get back to painting again. My abilities have changed so I am in the midst of new discoveries. I enjoy photography- but honestly- usually forget to take pictures, so not my second nature by any means. A good cup of coffee, clean air and good company is my favorite recipe by far. ~ Kenneth - I am former New Yorker who has been transplanted to Amazing Arizona, I am Christ follower who has worn many hats through the years include being a Fire Fighter / Emergency Medical Technician who also worked on the side as Professional Photographer; I am currently medically retired due to a brain tumor that was removed in 2015. I have a photojournalist style of shooting and have been taking pictures of people, places and things for since the mid-1980's for private individuals, corporations, media publications. To me my creativity is a Gift from God, it is one of my emotions, I am blessed to be able to capture what I am able to see. More importantly, I am able to share my gift and all the beauty to be seen in our wonderful world. It truly would not be possible it if it were not for God's Grace for me to be able to share it with you. Thank you for stopping by and letting us be able to share some of us with you. Be Blessed. Home Town: Grand Canyon Junction, AZ Favorite Boondocking Locations: Just started ;-) Skills or Expertise to Share: ~ Kenneth - Well it is easier to say what I cant do. Really though the list is crazy and makes me sound like Forest Gump, I am a specialist at being diversified. If you need something done, If I cant help, I can tell you where to get it done. Some: Machinist, FFL 7/3, Fire suppression, Rescue techniques, Emergency Medicine / First aide, Vehicle and pump operations, mechanical skills: aircraft, vehicle, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, fluids. I excel at Cooking, I can sew, I can take pictures, I can make loud things go pop sortfly! As the owners mentioned the roads into the property are rough. We were the only ones camped there and missed meeting the owners. The site is close to GCNP and has great sunrise & sunset views. We thank LHR for the opportunity of staying there.

Awesome communication on both their profile and over messaging. The location is quiet and peaceful, not to mention close to GCNP. I followed the directions given to get there but also had Waze running (habit) and it also led me straight to them. I would definitely stay there again!

This was our very first and absolute favorite of all the places we stayed. It has been 2 years and we are still talking about it. Sorry it took us so long to review, I wasnt sure how to do it! Anyway, beautiful place, absolutely phenomenal sky. No air pollution, just God, stars and family. Absolutely amazing. Very blessed.

Easy, open parking with plenty of turn around room for a big rig. Beautiful panoramic view by of the mountains. We stayed here with our 38 ft fifth wheel and had no problem getting to their home or parked and level. The Grand Canyon is within close proximity. It’s a quiet, peaceful location. The hosts were gracious enough to allow us to exend our stay for an additional day. We would stay here again!

Great time spent at LHR. Kenneth met us at the gate and showed us our spot. nice space for our 35-foot travel trailer. We stayed on lot 8. This family is off grid homesteaders, so that is why there is no water or electricity. That was fine. We read all the information provided and were prepared. 1st mile of dirt road was a dirt road some washboard bumps but not a bad road. The last section of Sublime is a lot ruffer but is very doable if you take it slow. Location for us was perfect, and the night sky was beautiful. If we are in the area again, we would definitely go back.
