The parking area is a paved turn-around in our country driveway, suitable for a rig that has a TOTAL length of 25 feet, and that's with a few feet overhanging the pavement in the back. Our property is an easy overnight for those traveling through southern Wisconsin on I-90, but we are close enough that you will likely hear the highway. Occasionally it is very quiet and you don't know it's there, but most of the time there will be some noise. AND occasionally it will even seem like the highway is right next to you, and you think you're in a Walmart (minus the overnight truckers and other RV's!) Usually the noise is a level that doesn't interfere with sleeping. We have chickens next to the RV parking area, (no roosters, just hens!) so if you have a dog, we'd appreciate having it on a leash. Our little country road is not a safe place to walk because there are no shoulders and people drive too fast, but you are welcome to walk around our 3 acre property. Suggested Local Attractions:Ummm... Let's see. Bessie the Giant Cow in front of Janesville's Menards store?? We don't think of our area as a destination, but Lake Koskonong is nearby and we have been told that people catch fish there! If you are heading east and want to get through Chicago before the traffic gets bad, our site is a good jumping-off place! We are about 12 minutes from a huge grocery store in Janesville that has the best cheese selection in Wisconsin, and there are lots of restaurants in town, too. The nearby town of Milton has an historic feature that's worth visiting. It's called the Milton House and it was a stop on the underground railroad.

Welcoming, kind, and generous hosts. Even though it was Mother's Day weekend they graciously allowed me to stay for the evening. Perfect location, quiet, restful, and allowed me the opportunity to explore nearby Madison. The couple has vast experience in Yellowstone and offered many good tips.

This was a perfect place to stay on our way through. It was chilly and wet when we arrived, but the hosts both came out to welcome us and tell us where to park. We backed in the drive and into the blacktopped spot with no trouble at all. Very interesting and helpful hosts and we hope they stay with us sometime.
